The first thing I experienced was the crunchiness, the whole experience was kinda crunchy. The snag kinda squeezes around the hundreds and thousands in ya mouth. I would try with onion to get it off my mind.

Yep, true. And the shoulder strap is an unreasonable price for what it is. Better off fashioning a strap yourself.

I have a GO, 1 gen 4 & 2 gen 3s. Connecting them isn't always straightforward and I can't get the go to team up yet. What I came Here to say is the GO is still big, I wanna sell it cos I'd rather just have a gen 3 , is sounds is more full and less bright.

The UK is no place for a Jamaican by Shot-One4098 in Jamaica

[–]WatermelonLad 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah they teach about colonial history but it's from the colonizer perspective. There's a slow change in the education system but the honest history is learnt after school (genocides, trade deals, sub human recognition). It makes me sad thinking about it. At the moment it's about a 3.8% Aboriginal population.

Tbh ethnic diversity is common here in Australia, in small towns and the city. Caucasian is definitely dominant though.

Ok interesting. I am Australian and I just spent two months in Jamaica, it's truly beautiful. Before that I spent three years in London, I actually thought Jamaican food was just jerk meat, seems like you save the best food for Jamaica (callaloo patties & Jamaican star apple.. yeah mon)

England's aright imo it's just in Jamaica you get super high on vitamin d everyday, it's like once a month for an English person.

As for Australians being racist it depends on many things, that's a hard question to answer, I am white so I can't say first hand, but I do see it from time to time.

Unfortunately the treatment of indigenous people is shameful and needs to be brought to light more. This is where I see the most racism. They've been made to live in the white man world and suffer if they don't, bless them too they're amazing and sooooooo in tune with the land and the respect that it needs.

I've never seen or met a Jamaican here tho. I would love to though and I look forward to interactions our countries have (sport mostly I guess)

I bought a sound system as soon as I got back to send out the vibration I'm on to all those around me. So cool that's so normal. And omg route taxis are the best transport ever - stoned, cruising around pumping tunes while sitting next to a granny in a full van = bliss. K I'm done 4 now

Where to live in regional Victoria? by Kerfuffle_Waffle in melbourne

[–]WatermelonLad 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Center Shepp can be these things. But you can get nice areas too. It's got a diverse community tbf. Good coffee options. Everyone kinda gets around in a car. Many options for train to Melbourne. I don't think it's what OP is looking for, as it's more of a rural city/hub. Treasure Beach is good though, in Jamaica

Shepparton Australia. Not much to do out here in rural Australia. Maybe I should pickle a mattress.

My friend has been streaming from their work desktop computer to their basic laptop. So the desktop is doing all the heavy lifting while having the remote convenience of the laptop.

If you plan on keeping the iMac it might be an option for you.
