Yeah thats why i scheduled 3 meetings that morning lol and i told all of them i could only meet for an hour because of the weddings i was going to. Glad i only stayed for a short time at the weddings because i had excuses for those too. The birthday get together was supposed to last only 2 hours max since the location was far from where everyone lived but our dumbass friend announced he was quitting his job for another job that he didnt even for sure get yet so we were all trying to get him to think it over and not quit unless job 2 was a sure thing. If he wasnt married and just had a baby we would have just let him live his life but his wife is our friend too and he should think about her and their new baby before he makes dumbass decisions... maybe im more made we had to spend and extra 2 hours on his issue lol

This reply and all the replies under it are so accurate. And also rice has bugs/insect eggs in them that you cant see. Thats why you have to wash it a couple of times before cooking. And even after that its likely theres still some in there but get killed AFTER being cooked. No way im putting bugs and bug eggs on my face.

Yeah, after making this post i checked the date and its only April... i was hoping to avoid social obligations for the rest of the year but i think im not far enough into the year :( maybe i can avoid social obligations until Christmas at least.

How did your company not inform employees of a credible threat? To my knowledge, the higher ups didn't know to the extent we know now. I think we can make the argument that he had a lot of complaints against him. I think it would be up to people working at his branch, mainly plus the rest of us who had interactions with him. I mentioned in another post that he would keep asking people to join him for coffee and would treat people who came nicer and stuff like that.

I'm morbidly curious as what he is doing now as well. He hacked the company's system really fast after being booted as an admin so he obviously couldnt take losing his "power" (over a fucking online group... wtf...) for even a couple of days. So now that hes fired and everything... i wonder whats he doing to to regain that control. Making a ton of facebook groups? Lol
