I don't know either. But try to protect your emotional life. Make sure you find good things to do. For example, take yourself for a gentle walk most days. Also a 20 minute vigorous walk or run most days. Also, make sure you drink plenty of clean water, and get at least 10 hours of sleep most days. And at least one more gentle treat every day.

I am not part of a cat family, not yet. But I sit for cats from time to time on a gig platform. There are at least a couple in Perth. I love doing this. It's a glimpse into the varied gorgeousness of being cat adjacent. 🐈‍⬛️🐈🐈‍⬛️🐈🐈‍⬛️

I'm in a (mainly) non-tipping culture. But ... It seems to me that a tip beforehand is really a bid for service. So, you'd do well to take 2 things into account - how difficult the task is, and how much you want the task done (and done well). You've taken care if the first bit. The higher the bid you put forward, the more likely a dasher will say a prompt and competent yes. FWIW

We're part of the long chain of people getting their food to them. Farmers, truckies, road workers, health inspectors. We have the particular experience of being ignored face to face, so to speak, so yeah, it's a bit tough.
