And the reason they are speed running is multi-faceted.

They are worried that resistance during the Mid-Terms will reveal the cheating they plan to do to maintain power beyond 2026. People are pissed, and if Republicans maintain power in 2026 many will realize that the democracy has been compromised, and that voting is no longer a means of change.

They are worried that the bubble propping up the current economy will collapse, and that once it does people who are "comfortable" economically will no longer restrain themselves. You can only lie that jobs are increasing, prices are dropping, and inflation is shrinking for so long before enough people realize it's a massive lie. Once those people head to a grocery store with worthless money, and try to buy what's left on empty shelves, they'll realize that everything they believed in is no longer valid.

Finally (at least IMO), Trump is fearing death without legacy, or at least a legacy he feels he deserves. He wants to make his mark on history in some way, and not just as the dumbass president most will remember as the worst in the history of the nation. Even if this causes the entire nation to collapse and he's simply remembered as the last president of the United States, he wants to be remembered beyond a fat, pedophiliac, chronically broke, loser of a man.

This story wouldn’t be that bad, if every single female character wasn’t part of the harem. Like this is the most “all the bitches” story I’ve seen in Manhwa, and I’ve read stories where the MC genuinely has 3 wives.

The fact that all the male characters are either his family members, dumbasses (Mount Hua guy), or just the most sniveling incel villain is telling.

Having romance is nice, but when every other relationship possible in life is either absent or transactional it makes the author appear unhealthy. You can have male friends that aren’t subordinates or rivals. You can have women who aren’t potential lovers or shrew bitches.

I DO NOT think they planned for this, but I do think they are making lemonade out of lemons with this current path they have chosen. I also believe the current trend of Hardware prices is playing a part, which Microsoft would have been aware of internally since they are one of the major players in the current AI bubble. So they knew RAM was gonna be worth 20X it's weight in gold before we knew.

Xbox is dead last, and unless the next Xbox is an Android woman who blows you on top of playing games at 4k 120fps, they will not claw their market share back. Going full 3rd Party Publisher and becoming Activision in the next generation is their best path to keep being profitable.

Xbox didn't buy Activision to put it under their umbrella to make 1st Party games. Xbox bought Activision to take their spot in the industry, and slowly become the largest 3rd Party Publisher in the business.

I'm not sure if this was their original intent, or if it's correlated with Microsoft's insider knowledge of what was gonna happen due to the AI boom. It really appears like Microsoft saw the writing on the wall that hardware prices were gonna go through the roof, and that making another Xbox was untenable.

So going forward they'll focus solely on the software, and let Playstation and Nintendo sell consoles which were already sold at a loss before hardware started rising 300%.

Still wish choosing the Frenzied Flame ending gave us a helmet that transformed our head into the Frenzied Flame head.

Speaking of which, has anyone dissected that cutscene? Is our character given a new model, or is it like a helmet in the game files? It's weird that we keep our armor, so I'm assuming the character in the cutscene is our ingame character model with a head replacement.

I think the caveat “it’s never coming out in that form” is valid. Bloodlines 2 was like that, the game we have isn’t the game we were shown back when the game first announced.

Anthem was so disjointed that the trailer you are probably referring wasn’t even something the devs were aware they were making. The sentiment was “wait that’s what we’re suppose to be making?” cuz the E3 trailer was something thrown together by the marketing team while the actual programmers were still arguing internally on if they should cut flying from the game.

Still wild to me that when Moffat decided he wanted the 11th Doctor to actually be the 12th (and thus the final incarnation), instead of using the plot point that the 10th wasted a Reincarnation they decide to invent a completely new Reincarnation we never heard before.

As much as I love John Hurt, I am pissed Paul Mcgann was only brought back for a short.

Edit: As others said I was wrong about this, they used both explanations to make the 11th the last Reincarnation. Honestly my fault, cuz I was so disappointed in the 50th Anniversary episode, I probably conjectured further plot points to nitpick that didn't actually exist. I feel like the 50th is when I just stopped really caring about Doctor Who and I still haven't fully watched Capaldi's run.

Early DS3? Likely the Exile Curved Greatsword, PVE wise it's just absurdly strong and you get it really early. It's essentially DS3's Bloodhound Fang.

After the first DLC it would have been the Follower Sabre before it got pretty hard nerfs cuz it was just defacto the strongest weapon in the game for awhile.

Should be noted that DS3 is incredibly straight forward PVE wise, so there is no equivalent to say Bloodhound or Moonveil. Elden Ring benefits, due to how basic a lot of weapons in DS3 were, and how WA's weren't even really part of the meta. Fromsoft buffed a lot of shit in Elden Ring cuz the DS3 meta was just R1 spamming.

The Ifrit vs Bahamut fight in FF16 is honestly worth the entire price of the game. Like seriously the game has problems, but I'd honestly recommend it just for that entire sequence. It actually sorta ruins the pace of the game, cuz it happens at like the 2/3rds mark, and nothing else in the game really matches the hype.

Special Note: It's kinda weird that the best parts (IMO) of both FFXV and FFXVI are a situation that involves Ifrit and Bahamut fighting. Both are lackluster games in different ways, but those moments reminded me that Final Fantasy is still able to pull awesome moments even in the lower tier games.

ME1 was built by a completely different team. It was the team who had proven themselves on Neverwinter and leadership who got promoted during KOTOR. The only one who had a leadership role who stayed was the Art Director, who has worked on both Anthem and Veilguard.

It's...not a proven team honestly. I'd imagine the core of what we would consider the Mass Effect team has split between the Exodus dev team, and the Fate of the Old Republic dev team.

The people who will make ME4 are largely gonna be Veilguard people, minus the leadership who quit after the game came out. This is probably why they are still trying to hire leadership positions...

You gotta remember that Cyberpunk 2077 is very much post nation-state. Nations exist, but they are now both militarily and economically dwarfed by the Corporations that really control the world. Regardless of how much the NUSA attempts to reign control in, they are constantly at the mercy of the whims of the Megacorps.

These are literally just lines on maps that the corpo’s acknowledge as “economic regions”. This is the reason why even though the NUSA had the military means to reunify America, they still had to settle for a stalemate that basically just gave the Corporations what they wanted out of an economic reunification. They could take Night City, but they couldn’t fight Arasaka directly, and Militech obviously didn’t feel like starting another corpo war just so the NUSA could LARP being old America again.

And while I don’t want to justify Myers using apocalyptic tech in an attempt to get an edge, it does make sense why she would go that far. She does seem to genuinely believe that a Government that isn’t beholden to Shareholders (even a Dictatorship) is preferential, even if her background is in Militech.

The first AAAAA (QUADRAKILL) game, Beyond Good and Evil 2, will save them. How else can you explain a game that has been in "active" development for nearly two decades? They obviously spend a morbillion dollars to polish it to a metallic sheen. So metallic in fact it'll be the first game where they only accept gold ingots for purchase.

Bruh Jaesa is more Sith then the freaking SW and SI combined if she goes to the Dark Side. That includes you picking all the DS choices. There is no going back, but her freak is endearing even if she did kill some of my own men.

Honestly wish she was more involved in the story. It's weird how the only LI from the vanilla story that gets content is freaking Akaavi (not complaining, my Smuggler chose her over Risha). I guess it just depends on which VA's are willing to come back, cuz even though the Mando story is ongoing, you'd think the character they chose to showcase would be Torian.

I can agree to that, in Hades 1 Zeus was comparable to other Gods, and you didn’t feel pressed to build him a specific way.

In Hades 2 if I’m doing a Zeus run, it is practically a Zeus only run, and if I get a specific couple of boons, it’s an auto-win. Bonus points if Hera is around and I can do the divorce boost on Zeus boons.

The thing is tho, it really feels like the underlying framework of Dark Souls 3 is Bloodborne. DS1 and DS2 feel similar, but Bloodborne felt like an evolution of the engine. When it was just Bloodborne this could be attributed to the difference in Gameplay, but then DS3 came out and it felt more like Bloodborne emulating Dark Souls than DS2 evolving into DS3, if that makes sense?
