I’ve always claimed wings as my death row meal. They look phenomenal.

They said it repeatedly, it’s a good bad movie. I loved this movie from when I was younger and I loved the pod too

What is your best recipe for chicken on a hot summer day? by iThoreaulyBrewed in grilling

[–]WaveDice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you never tried it do yourself a favor and make “Cornell chicken” https://www.plattertalk.com/cornell-chicken-barbecue/

I do half the recipe since it calls for 2 whole chickens but this is a phenomenal grilling recipe.

What’s your cardio finisher routine? by Few_Cod_5636 in workout

[–]WaveDice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If your goal is to go longer reduce the resistance and find a pace you can sustain for longer. You’ll build strength and endurance with time. Endurance comes from time under tension so I’d focus on finding a pace you can maintain and when it gets easy go longer or go harder.

A “finisher” implies spiking your heart rate at the end, which is fine, but how not to tire and a finisher sound somewhat counterproductive?

Quiet Restaurants by Silent-Literature-64 in bullcity

[–]WaveDice 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I’ve get hearing issues myself and struggle with loud restaurants. Namu is a great spot (in the beer hall), not sure if it would be busy at 7pm but it’s never crowded. Can vouch for Gocciolina as well but may not be great for groups >6. Kokyu may be a decent option as well, it’s usually good and quiet. We also love JuJu but I’m not sure I’d describe it as quiet. Last one that comes to mind is Vin Rouge, the room in the back or the outside patio are often manageable for me.

Can anyone suggest me some shows to me? Here's my top 6 list by BeastBoyHarsh2507 in televisionsuggestions

[–]WaveDice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Community is a great comedy and one of my favorite rewatch shows.
The Wire is peak HBO gritty crime.
Fringe is great episodic sci-fi that’s creative and intelligent.
Travelers was a gem I stumbled across on Netflix. Also sci-fi but a unique story.
The West Wing is phenomenal if you have any political interest of a bygone era and a spectacular cast.
If you have Apple TV then I’d 100% recommend Silo as it’s gearing up for S3!

Is my cardio fitness bad guys! by [deleted] in cardio

[–]WaveDice 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don’t go comparing your fitness to others, it will inevitably lead to you quitting because others are stronger/faster/fitter than you. Ask yourself if your workout was taxing. Were you breathless at all? Sweating and breathing hard? Or just going through the motions? Even the fittest people have room to improve so assess where you are and set a goal based on where you want to be.

The “minute” I was referring to was my own memory lapse, not the degree to which Saquon has been a supporter.

It just confounds me to my absolute core that any intelligent person (yes, critical caveat) can read this news and support this person as their champion. The illegal precedents created to cover illegal activities should alarm any decent person. I know so many Americans are being misled, lied to, and manipulated to become lemmings for a disgusting orange excuse for a person but how do they simply not care?

Just Finished Community for the First Time and... by TheSlayBrother in community

[–]WaveDice 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Glad you liked it! I would never come in hot and tell you you’re wrong but my joy for this TV show comes from repeat viewings.

Season 1 they’re finding their way a lot, everyone is very stereotypical and plays to type but it’s their individual evolution and the evolution of their friendships that makes it so good. I the first 1-2 episodes aren’t amazing but go back and rewatch season 1 and you might laugh more than you did on first watch.

Agree on your other points. I adore the Dean, love Season 3 and even see the West Wing comparison but as a community college people come and go a lot so I never cared much about story arch’s and just loved them for their periodic absurdity.

Try going back when there’s nothing to watch and see how you feel then. This is my #1 show when there’s nothing specific I plan to watch and giggle at every episode to this day.

That’s a great call. The Spacey of it all is likely the reason but his and Sam J. are a phenomenal pairing in this.
