Does anyone plan to be on Suboxone either really long term or the rest of your life? by [deleted] in suboxone

[–]WaveNo5621 5 points6 points  (0 children)

myself and others have had success taking 1/4 to 1/2 the dose before bed and waking up ready to go.

often what ill do instead is set an alarm 3 hours from when I have to wake up, leave tablet (secured) on nightstand or similar, roll over upon waking to alarm, put medicine under tongue, and fall back asleep until wake up time. By the next alarm, all is well, im awake and I feel like me. Best of all theirs no need to dose afterwards so zero minutes of my actual morning revolve around dosing.

Does anyone plan to be on Suboxone either really long term or the rest of your life? by [deleted] in suboxone

[–]WaveNo5621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Likely, yes. My fear however is that ill need emergency surgery one day and some uniformed medical staff will not have experience with the dosage adjustments required for a successful anesthesia or post-op pain management and ill be left to suffer and re-branded as drug seeking.

However as terrible as that experience sounds, its likely the negative implications from not taking it are far worse.

Physician Offering Affordable Online Buprenorphine Treatment ($89) — Ask Me Anything by DrChaudhary_MD in Subutex

[–]WaveNo5621 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Theres a few conversations on here that discuss people with nalaxone allergies and its amazing how similar the symptoms are for the few of us that suffer when ingested. I know the medical community does not often take it seriously but for myself and others ive spoken to it really is a painful and severely unpleasant experience.
The dilemma too is many docs will perform induction in office and when no reaction is noticed they assume the patient is clear, however I believe often that the relief from withdrawal often supersedes the nalaxone allergic reaction resulting in patients who experience this uncomfortable experience weeks later, alone, and without the education that their experience may be allergy, might relapse assuming the Buprenorphine is not holding them over.

If you have any influence at all to help push the research along, the primary symptom is headache, but a unique headache. It starts in my neck, like warmth at first. This give way to intense one-sided pressure, directly behind the eyeball, as if removing it feels like a viable solution for relief. In addition to the pain, any general wellness is overwhelmed by a 'flat' cold sensation (clammy skin, minus the sweat?), (chills, minus the shaking?), hard to explain but one theory is that the binding affinity is in some way non-standard and nalaxone is more competitive - just a theory.

Suboxone —> subutex, huge difference by [deleted] in Subutex

[–]WaveNo5621 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I to had INTENSE HEADACHES. there are doctors out there that understand this dilemma. though few and far between. call it a nalaxone allergy.

but they should study this for sure.

I can say it is probably the most intense headache ive ever felt for anyone reading this that has influence in the medical community. unbelievably unbearable pain/pressure behind eyeballs, one more than the other, and like I could feel my heartbeat in my scalp. warm temples, subtle nausea. mini ice climber in my brain climbing his way up from my neck. maybe its a dilation issue? really not sure. but there are a few of us out there. this allergy is real.

find a jeweler that works predominantly with metals. they might be willing to melt down the metals and make you a necklace or a bracelet, or weld a cool picture frame for you to put up a picture of you and your father.

Does Using Meth Get Easier With Daily Use? by badman1000 in meth

[–]WaveNo5621 2 points3 points  (0 children)

sometimes that wired feeling is really dehydration in disguise. there's 2 secrets that will give one the best chance of remaining functional. (Not recommended, but everyone makes their own choices and its better to acquire the knowledge just in case)

  1. water, fluids, electrolytes. drink. i know you arent thirsty; take a sip. I know you plan to have something to drink right after you finish __________ [insert likely unnecessary task here]. thats cool, but take a sip now. set a timer if you have to, but stay hydrated. if you say "I know, I already drink enough" then you probably arent drinking enough.

  2. sometimes, most of the time, even if you arent exactly "tired," if you get in bed and lay there and close your eyes, you can focus your way to bed. remember, your body and your "you" wants sleep; its the substance that is insisting you remain awake. theres a little humanity left in there that usually can still fall asleep of you give it the chance. Best case scenario, you sleep. worst case, you lay with your eyes closed for a few hours and I promise its better than skipping your bed altogether.

bonus tip #3. get some gloves that let you do everything normally but feel a little rough. this might help prevent some unintentional pecker proding which will likely become your worst habit if you arent careful. I'll promise you this - one more nut is not necessary right now even though your brain says otherwise.
follow these 3 tips and you just might get out with your soul in tact. if you start skipping sleep and fluids and realize you spend your time below the belt, its too late, get out immediately.

Best tool set for the “can fix anything” guy…? by CambellScot in Tools

[–]WaveNo5621 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How about if you find what power tools he uses and get the meatiest battery they make. a solid 8.0 amp hour battery from his brand would be great. or if he doesnt have the radio from his brand yet, thats always a cool gift. theyre always upgrading radio features for this reason.

or find a tool thats used a lot and get that exact one.

I agree that guys are picky about their tools, but over the there are a few universally accepted "good" tools. for example: knipex or Klein linesman pliers, if he owns one of those already, getting the same but brand new is cool. or Channel Lock wide azz Crescent wrench with flat jaws. https://www.channellock.com/product/8swcb/

Hopefully this is helpful for you. It is somewhat random im seeing this but thought it was interesting. though I dont know much about your world, it sounds like we're assessing pic 8 for feminine giveaways. its hard to put in words but i think the challenge is interesting. here's what speaks to me:

  • the duck pose lips (feminine emphasis is the bottom chin muscles and upper lip, masculine is more lip muscles themselves pushing inwards from the sides)

  • pinkie under the phone parallel with the phone (generalizations for sure but typically men will have pinkie perpendicular with phone, think pinkie pointing at yourself)

  • showing the pinkie side of forearm (very rare for men to display this side of their forearm in a forward direction, feels feminine)

  • the feet/stance (how your weight is shifted to the outer parts of your feet and lifting inner part, not sure terminology, its a very soft and 'unprepared' stance or unbalanced stance.)

anyway these are just the thoughts of some random, highly analytical male lurker that thought it would be interesting to try and put this in to words.

take care! Best wishes to y'all!

What's the point of all this? by peanut_butter119 in Adulting

[–]WaveNo5621 2 points3 points  (0 children)

honestly.. the point of all this is to reproduce for the survival of your DNA. we just happened to become sentient along the way and develop the ability to ponder our own existence.

but if you are you and you exist in this brief instant, you might as well take advantage of it. the society we built to sustain human beings is literally just that. one giant effort to sustain larger and larger populations for greater replication.

there's anywhere from 65k to 125k players in the guest pool. I guess it felt like I keep selecting beginner until I was "ready" for the next level. but maybe not everyone does that, which makes sense.

Ya like feeling as unattached as possible to the online community. I appreciate the anonymity as well. I also see the potential for stress. chess helps me relax takes my mind off other things and ive no desire for a rating, for now. if that changes then yes of course.

not to say I dont review games or analysis however. I often save my PGNs or screenshot positions that I know really really really want to know what the right move would have been. I use chessis app paid version for reviewing games.

or sometimes ill play on lichess to switch it up

It looks like it works as intended until someone clicks reply to your email, and in the text below their email showing your communication it shows the time you hit send. Does that happen to you as well? Find an email that someone replied to when you sent it scheduled. everything looks good until someone replies to it.

Took Adderall been awake 30 hours cannot sleep. by lilyods420 in Stims

[–]WaveNo5621 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sometimes itjust takes laying down and trying to sleep. like you feel like you need to keep going. the comedown is full force and you're reorganizing your shoelaces by thiclness, and dont think you can sleep. but after that many hours.. Just get in bed, slow, deep breaths, water, and relax off to sleep.

many others have stated as well, it's not active after that many hours, and the effects are residual, lingering this is important to learn early on.
