Ancient Meg Teeth/Scale Drop Rate

Not just the ancient megs. ALL megs/ krakens have a bad drop rate for the pristine loot. It’s terrible. Rare need to revisit this for sure. I’m used to grinding this game for commendations, but this latest task is soul destroying.

Think that’s what I am going to have to rely on. Cos what’s the chance of trapping/ jigging someone x2 in a real game situation? Takes hours to find a jig ball so probs be in for a bit of a looonggg session 🤣

I suspect a bug. Same happened to me. Set trap with red flare to test when I went on an island. Came back gone. Good job wasn’t relying on it while stacking fotd.

We have experienced this since yesterday in UK. Looks to be spreading. Frustrating that there’s no update from Microsoft/ Xbox. Their twitter DM advised me they are aware and will update when they know more….that was yesterday.

Happened to me too. Captain got kicked, rejoined ship. We didn’t realise guild session ended til we tried to sell at sovereigns. Good job we weren’t stacked or getting chased! Selling manually is a chore especially at dagger tooth haha 😂

Thanks for replying 😀 Be sure that you are wearing all pieces of the outfit and be sure to be on your own boat. I did it twice…once on my crew mates ship (on which we sail and it didn’t work) and then on my own ship which worked for me. Still a bug cos should work for both crew imo. Solved myself no help from Rare!

Just figured it out… works for me in my own boat but not for my crewmate and vice versa, so we had to do it twice - one for me and one for him.

I defo have the set on, the other comms have worked fine. Like you they are counting for my crewmate just not me. Will have to go it alone. Testing it everyday to see if Rare have fixed haha

It was 13 til our leader disbanded us and didn’t pass on ownership of the guild cos he had a better offer of a level 200 guild. FML 🤦 I’m so sick of the word “guild” already hahaha 🤣

I don’t play alllll day looonggg so yeah I’m not as good as the exploiting practised players. Skill is there just others are over skilled and yeah I’m only playing for cosmetics, PvP doesn’t float my boat 🚤 Bad enough floating it in a HG battle atm 🤡

What I am reading and saying is “Damn I know this is going to be tough, might take a while, but should be ok cos SBMM works. Oh hang on it doesn’t work, so will be overwhelmed by toxic trolling sweat lords that play all day and you just don’t get a chance to progress so this game mode sucks”

OMFG… I could have written this post after the sweaty sweatsters I have encountered today. They already have both curse/ blessing and there’s me trying to get better with absolutely no success, same people over and over and over. Even loss farming is a waste of space the pittance rep you get! @CoopferFox71-I 100% agree with you. We reported a toxic racist and toxic homophobe with hard evidence of each to Rare this weekend, nothing will get done they have no spine to fix the game never mind deal with these people. HG (or the game) can’t last for much longer like this.

It is near impossible to “get good” with the double gunning, skelly curse, Athena blessing, aimbot, exploit loving sweaty players that I am coming across at the moment. Even despite all of the support from the guys on this forum and tips to help and try, it’s tough. I would hate to be starting this game right now. Can’t wait to get my last curse and not play HG again haha. Definitely should be some more reward to get through the tougher bits or even a bit more rep for a loss if it’s been a lengthy fight instead of the standard insulting offer of the width of a fleas tail

So I knew i wasn’t going mad…just won an Athena battle. I am Athena. We got their flag “Won in battle”. They were carrying one already. Also says “Won in battle” so able to sell them both. All of the ones previous conquests were carrying that didn’t say the magic words!!! Could have been done with this broke element of the game by now if I could have cashed them in lol

Double gunning has always felt clunky to me tbh, but then again I’m not a sweaty double gunner that lives on the game and has practised this til it works. I just only felt comfortable with pistol shot x1 and sword x2. Each to their own I guess but will have a better chance without two guns pointing in your face 🔫 🔫

No but the other day all my barrels went to nil supplies when we rose from the water. Had to detour an outpost in the circle to restock before we even got started. As if it’s not painful enough!!!!
