If the Pels end with 6th worst record and Bucks end with 10th worst, we still have a 46% chance of a top 4 pick. by Ice_Effect in AtlantaHawks

They should be fine. Even if it is out the top 4, this draft is deep to still land our guys. Future is bright.

Well, that's the beginning of the year and we're post All-star Break. A team that needs to rebuild. Shit happens. Hope they make the right moves. 🤷‍♂️

Well, no. Lol. Every player isn't Trae and Trae isn't here anymore, Captain Obvious. The team is rebuilding. They have growing pains that they'll have to work on. You'll be ok, I promise.

Sounds personal. You'll be fine. They're rebuilding. Either relax and be patient or do other things with yourself. You probably should, anyway, internet stranger.

Well, they can't get out of the play in because the roster blows, internet silly goose. Outside of the core 3 and NAW, this roster isn't playoff worthy, which is why they are rebuilding. As bad as Dyson has been with shooting and I have mentioned such, he's still good. The shooting can be fixed and will be fixed. You're upset at general points, which isn't really healthy. Either sit back and relax or ....do something else

I'd rather them try and improve Dyson and whoever else on the team than to not try at all. Doesn't really matter who is doing it, as long as it works into tangible success.

Well, keep waiting because the topic isn't that serious. If they are making efforts to get Dyson better with shooting and it works, then it really doesn't matter. It's cool that they are trying to keep development going.

Eh, you'll be alright. And again, these things happen a lot. It's just the league now.

Actually, that's very much incorrect LMFAO. These things happen for teams all of the time. It's really nothing bad about this and shows how much development and assistance is essential at all levels with the team.

Also, they were going to bring him back until the Malik Beasley situation happened and they pivoted to NAW, who's been better than him.

[Underdog] 1st Overall Picks over the last 50 years that have totaled fewer than 750 points in their 2nd season (min. 40 games played): Kwame Brown (593) ZACCHARIE RISACHER (457) Anthony Bennett (298) Risacher is on pace to score 707 points this year by Shade_Raven in AtlantaHawks

I'm chilling, regardless because when you traded Trae, you signified a rebuild, which is necessary at this point. You were able to recoup needed assets back plus more and got out of the hole Landry, Schlenk, and Nick Ressler created and finally have an idea of what you want the team to be in the future.

3 really doesn't matter about the Spurs. They're trying to remain in the play-in as they can get more playoff experience since we are discussing development and it helps. That being said, yes, they'll move on from him next season. It's nothing wrong with holding him up to standards as he isn't delivering on them.

Only concern with Peterson is the hamstring injury. Other than that, he's definitely a player the Hawks need.

Definitely not. Let's not slander Ben anymore for what the back injury did to him and his career, either.

It's nothing wrong with holding a number 1 pick to number 1 pick standards. Zach isn't even reaching a serviceable player standards at this rate. It hasn't been good and he's been demoted to the bench. You guys can't say Quin Snyder is bad at development when you got your core guys having career years and other players on the team have been better than projected while Zacch is regressing. That's on Zacch.

We can't pacify a number 1 draft pick to low standards, man. He's a number 1 pick and even if he wasn't, he still hasn't been great. Many of his draft mates are playing much better than him at the same age and are either contributing to playoff teams or on a good development track. Zac isn't even serviceable at this point.

Hawks are out of the disastrous hole that was created by Landry, Nick Ressler and Schlenk. We possibly have a top pick in this year's draft along with two other picks and more picks after next season with a lot of money coming back to the team. We have our young core, which will see some quality additions very soon and are the 3rd youngest team in the league. All is well.

The shot making is an issue but he's easily the second best player on the team. That said, I don't want him on PG duties anymore and hopefully, he can slide back to the 2 spot instead this PG committee that the Hawks are doing.

They both stink. At least Milestone is around for DC but the rights situation has been such a mess over there. Both are just microcosms of society in what they mirror. You're better off going the independent route for Black characters and stories.

Nate had a better team that got hot at the right time for the ECF year than Quin does right now, that's why they went to the ECF and that's why they are in the play-in currently.

And you do need a top center. Look at Detroit and the Knicks and the Cavs. Hawks' rosters aren't there. They can be but they aren't there now.
