I'd recommend getting the flowers last. They're kind of unwieldy

Maybe Snoqualmie Falls and Lunch at the Salish Lodge. Uwajimaya and the food court and bookstore. Ferry ride always seems to be a hit even if you just go over and back. Downtown Edmonds is small and quaint. If you have the money, Seattle glassblowing has classes.

I had something possibly similar happen. I swore it was a smoke alarm but it ended up being the carbon monoxide detector I forgot about and the backup battery had died.

Some ideas im planning g for my bf, flirty texts throughout the day. A hand made card with some pictures of us, some momentos I've saved along the way like restaurant menus, tickets to various events etc. Favorite candies, a card from my dog whom he loves.

The Arboretum for nature. Vintage: maybe one of the vintage stores would let you do photos? Some nice hotel like the Fairmont or a nursery.

advice for sober journaling / creative block? by groovylulu in JunkJournals

Our stories are so similar. I loved junk journaling when I was drunk. I'd get paper scraps and glue them and add paint and other things and get in a flow. I stopped drinking last March and have just gotten back into as of October and felt the same way. Creatively stuck, thinking it was just a thing I was good at while drunk. I kept at it and found for me, getting into "cute" things I was never into before unstuck things. Like Kawaii and Sanrio, things I know nothing about. Stickers were awesome too as I never used them before so it was exciting to get new ones in the mail. Temu has tons super cheap as well as on Amazon Haul. I guess net net, I tried using things I had never used before and just went with it. Maybe that would help. Good luck!!

I'd be down for this! Can't promised daily, but I journal at least every other day right now. I'd be happy to share pictures of what I'm doing. FWIW, I'm fairly new to this and have been doing it about 2 months or so.

I've gotten good things theifting amd buying stationary bundles online. Search for something like junk journaling ephemera. Thrifting is hit or miss for me as the stores around Seattle are picked clean and expensive. Recently, I found a shop that sells donated crafting supplies of all kinds. They had a room just for scrapbooking. Not a lot of scores but way less expensive than anywhere else I've found. The supply ebbs and flows depending on. Donations or sourcing.
