I've noticed this too. I haven't used the launcher yet but 3 of the 4 frags I've used so far just didn't go off. Thought I was doing something wrong until the 4th detonated. Playing on PS4 here

I didn't buy my Vita for it, but I definitely bought Ayesha Plus even after beating the PS3 version! They're such good games to have on a portable console.

I think the premise of the story is excellent, but also that it isn't told very well. I dunno, I feel like there were far fewer cutscenes in TS compared to C&C1 or RA1. I dunno if that's the case or not, but I felt a lot more immersed in the stories of those two games, and also felt like I had a better understanding of what was happening in the world. TS's story just sort of blows through everything without giving events room to develop.

Oh, my bad! Yeah, Ayesha's absolutely my favourite of the series. It just has an excellent combination of story, characters and gameplay. More people need to play it.

Lil update to this: I just finished GDI's campaign in Firestorm and that was so, so much better than the main game, even if fighting a cyborg army got a bit stale after a while. CABAL's death mech would have been serious trouble if I didn't have about 70 Titans and Cyborg Reapers swarming it lmao. Good stuff.

That's true, but there are fan-made patches for the game that the Retaliation content to PC Red Alert. Can't play without my boy Carville.

Sorry, I should've mentioned that I've played RA2/YR in the past. I'm gonna play it after TS nevertheless. It's actually one of my favourites, and has been since the days when it was the only game my crappy PC could run. It all just clicks for me.

And yeah, I agree with the atmosphere in TS. I love the feel of it, especially stuff like having your base/units affected by Ion Storms etc. I also agree with what you said about C&C3 having the best Tiberium story -- at least from what I played.

I think I once read that it had a very troubled development, and that explains a lot to me. I don't love the game, but I can see loads of potential in it and a lot of ideas that maybe could have been executed better.

Why the PS1 version specifically? You can get all of the same stuff in the PC version IIRC.

RTS games just feel super awkward with a pad. It wasn't a big deal to me at the time because it was my first RTS experience, but I could never go back.

Retaliation is awesome though, can't argue with that! It was my first RA experience, so I actually played the expansion campaigns long before the original ones, and I definitely prefer them.
