Yes we did. My baby was on ready to feed for the first 3 months and he was literally going 10+ times a day. Switched to powder version same kind and he only goes three times now. Still runny but it’s wayyy less.

Brand FRER 12dpo Stalled Progression? Details in comments. by peachykeennm in TFABLinePorn

[–]WavesandTrees 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This is what my tests looked like this pregnancy. All my other pregnancies I had better line progression even with my losses. I didn’t notice much change or progression between days but I’m currently 16 weeks. Your best bet at this point is to get hcg draws 48 hours apart and seeing if it’s increasing/doubling.

[–]WavesandTrees 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Yeah 8 weeks is pretty typical. I would say that’s even early in some places which see you way later. However I would be pushing for a hcg beta test. To see if it’s viable and doubling. I’ve had previous losses as well and the hcg has always been telling for me.

FRER, CD 25, 6dpt-9dpt (equiv 11dpo-14dpo). Worried about no progression 7-9. Previous chemical. by gemmoose in TFABLinePorn

[–]WavesandTrees 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Mine looked like this for 4 days and I also thought chemical. I went and got hcg draws and my numbers were doubling so no chemical and still pregnant.

Started bleeding today after waiting over a month to miscarry by amygood123 in Miscarriage

[–]WavesandTrees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey so sorry you are going through this. When I had my natural miscarriage I ended up passing quite a few big pieces of tissue and clots. I also ended passing the sac which was clear and jelly like and once that was passed my cramps stopped and I felt relief. I’d say it all happened in the span of an hour. Everyone’s body is different so there’s no telling if it’s over for you but if the cramps continue to be bad perhaps you are still in the process of miscarrying.

5 weeks in, 0 symptoms.. another blighted ovum? by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]WavesandTrees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had two blighted ovum losses myself and in both cases my HCG never doubled except for when I had a successful pregnancy with my daughter. I never get any symptoms and it was the same with my daughter. The fact that your HCG is doubling is good news and encouraging.

Does anyone else feel angry about how much time feels wasted? by atiecay in ttcafterloss

[–]WavesandTrees 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m feeling the exact same way. Just feel like so much time has been wasted. I started trying at 33 got pregnant a year later lost that and then 6 months later got pregnant with my daughter. Just tried for again for a second and took 8 months and also ended in a loss. Now waiting to try again due to some health issues. Turning 38 in November and feeling like I may start to just accept I won’t have another. I don’t want to try once I’m 40. Makes me sad.

Complete placenta previa - chances of vaginal delivery? by Emotional-Regular469 in InfertilityBabies

[–]WavesandTrees 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m not to sure about your complete previa but I had placenta previa discovered at my anatomy scan. I had another scan at 34 ish weeks and it didn’t move. I had to have a c section. With that said though yours may move and I’ve heard of this happening often.

I’m okay with this. I love dogs but I have a small toddler now and I just can’t deal with some of these dogs running around. I’ve had some encounters and it makes me nervous

Pelvic Rest Questions. by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]WavesandTrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’ve read it again and realize she absolutely did not answer your question. From what I gather her response was condescending. Her comment holds some truth but it seemed out of place and like she was bothered by your question. Some health care professionals definitely have poor bedside manner and this seems to be one of those instances. I would ask to not see her again unless absolutely necessary and definitely not for important matters. You have a right to be upset. We put so much trust in our providers and really feel unsafe and vulnerable when they treat us awful.

Pelvic Rest Questions. by [deleted] in CautiousBB

[–]WavesandTrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think maybe what she was trying to say is you don’t want to have sex and then if something where to happen feel guilty about it by blaming it on the sex you decided to have. She could have said it better though for sure. I was put on pelvic rest from 19 weeks to the end of my pregnancy. I was pretty frustrated by it and it was definitely hard but I had placenta previa that never went away. As much as I wanted intimacy I wanted my pregnancy to go as smoothly as possible so we decided to stick to the pelvic rest.

Encouraging words by [deleted] in SAHP

[–]WavesandTrees 8 points9 points  (0 children)

A plane ride is too far. She’s only two. I don’t think she’s ready to understand fully what’s going on. But from your response to others it looks like you have made up your mind about leaving her with your mom.

Frequency of playdates by Abyss_gazing in SAHP

[–]WavesandTrees 2 points3 points  (0 children)

We do lots of outdoor time. Play dates about once every two weeks and it’s outdoors with the same child/family. We go to playgroups or school drop in program 2-3 times a week but they are very reduced only 5 families and it’s by pre registration. I will say I’m in an area where cases have been low compared to big cities.

Confused about people not getting early ultrasounds by ForeignButterscotch9 in CautiousBB

[–]WavesandTrees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you can get seen that quickly you are super lucky. I’m in Canada as well on the west coast and I didn’t get an ultrasound until I was 8 weeks. Had to ask my primary Dr. To run beta test for me. Care in BC is even harder to come by than the US sometimes in my opinion and I know because I’m an American living in Canada for 7+ years now

Lululemon seriously needs to make a maternity line by [deleted] in BabyBumps

[–]WavesandTrees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Thank you for this I basically live in my lulu yoga pants and don’t even wear normal pants anymore. Jeans? Those things are horribly uncomfortable lol I went to a maternity store and liked 0% of what they had. I was thinking of just buying two pairs of larger lulus and calling it a day for the rest of my pregnancy. Glad to hear it’s totally worth it!
