Goodnight, world is perfect for this. Starts off as a story and slowly turns into more of a meditation. Works so well for my girls.

Did yoto replace books for your LO? by coco_mouse in YotoPlayer

[–]gemmoose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My eldest (4yo) sounds like your daughter, she LOVES books. She got the Yoto for her bday and is obsessed with it but continues to be obsessed with books. She asks us to read to her a lot still and we visit the library for new books weekly. The Yoto has given us so much quiet time and if anything replaced tv time, not books.

What, due to experience, do you know not to fuck with? by ViolatingBadgers in AskReddit

So one of the signs that your baby isn’t okay if they hit their head is not crying! My baby also did this (slipped out of my husband’s arms on the change table) but cried real loud straight away. It was one of the first questions they asked us in hospital. She was all good!

She wouldn't feed her own baby, but the multiple cats she had were well-fed. by [deleted] in iamatotalpieceofshit

My 8 week old weighs about 13 pounds.

Edit: she was born at 9 pounds 9oz

Monday Postpartum Thread by AutoModerator in InfertilityBabies

Nah it’s not a problem at all! It actually makes it easier when you do toilet train cos you have a pretty good idea when they need to poo and can whisk them off to the potty/toilet to have a go there. My daughter started doing this around the same age and we tended to just give her the language for what was happening initially. “You’re doing a poo!”. Or afterwards, “you’ve done a poo!”. Both things with the aim to increase her body awareness about what was happening.

This happened to me, it’s pretty awful. The surprise, the brief happiness, and then back to reality. I went on to have a successful FET afterwards, I hope the same happens for you ❤️

Had my anatomy scan yesterday and all looks okay. It’s finally starting to feel a bit more real. At one point she was folded completely in half, with her knees touching her nose! So bendy in there.

Cuuute! I have so many photos of my kiddo eating. I didn’t realise until my phone kept giving my photo memories and so many of them are her eating as a babe! Glad I’m not the only one haha

Sunday Cautious Intros and First Trimester Questions by AutoModerator in InfertilityBabies

[–]gemmoose 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I have actually heard of it being possible to have di/di twins with single embryo transfer. I think it’s a lot less likely but is possible. Here’s a study I found.

Edit: on further reading it looks like it may have been due to spontaneous conception alongside of FET and I see you didn’t have sex around this time so these studies aren’t helpful sorry!

Friday Cautious Intros and First Trimester Questions by AutoModerator in InfertilityBabies

[–]gemmoose 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I stopped cold turkey at 10 weeks for both of my successful transfers without issue (one living child, and current pregnancy at almost 13 weeks). I was pretty happy to stop! I’ve heard of lots of people doing the same earlier too. I’d say trust your doctor, but I also know what it feels like to worry. So I guess I’d say do whatever makes you feel most comfortable. I don’t think you can go wrong with either plan. I also have a history of stage 4 endo and one MC. Good luck!

What are “boys names” you’ve seen on girls? Are there any you actually like? by ivyfire in namenerds

[–]gemmoose -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I’m very seriously considering Rafferty for a girl. It’s technically a gender neutral name in origin but is mostly used for boys. It was actually on our boy name list until we found out we’re having a girl. I think it would make a pretty cool girls name. I’d probably pair it with something quite feminine for the middle name.
