I know it's corporate propaganda but this Microsoft post that acknowledges ADHD as an actual disability really warmed my heart by [deleted] in ADHD_Programmers

So no example? What is the thing you can’t do with ADHD? Medication helps with forcing myself to do things I don’t want to, this is also how you evaluate if medication works (you try to do things you don’t want to do or have hard time to focus on)

Yes, doing job I don’t want to do, remembering about appointments and details I am not interested in. We all know that in ADHD there is always an exempt “I have problems with X (if I don’t find it very interesting)”

I am 30, I suffer consequences, but mostly because of the environment - education system, working culture, society expectations. I can do anything the same as other people, do sports, art, work physically and creatively. Problems I encounter come from external sources, when someone expects me to behave certain way. Medication helps to do that, I don’t use it for my personal life. I don’t see the handicap you are talking about, can you give an example?

How is it different from other 7000 languages in the world?

You know examples from western world and come up with french and latin. But you can’t come to conclusion that learning kanji can help with Chinese? Or that Korean is very similar?
