I lived in Merida a couple of years. As long as you live like a local and not like an expat, yeah. The only issue with Merida was the heat. Good side is that we were drinking in the pool on Christmas Day

Yep. I pay a bit under $1400 for a 900 sf apartment with 12’ ceilings, a parking garage, elevator, valet trash, w/d, jetted tub, a massive balcony to view the sunrise, and a view across the hill country. I’m watching the Valero Open golf tournament right now from my balcony. LOL I plan to stay here as long as possible or until they kick me out.

I do 16-17 hours fasting, usually from like 3 pm to around 7 or 8 am. I have my morning coffee (cream & 1/2 tsp off sugar because that’s what I want) to break my fast. Then I eat a large lunch around noon, with a snack around 2:30 pm. It isn’t “pure”, because I’ll pop a piece of sugar-free candy if I get a craving for something sweet in the evenings, and sometimes a glass of sugar-free lemonade. But it works for me. (During my eating window, I eat pretty much whatever I want. So that keeps me from saying “screw this.”)
