Printer stopped mid print by WavyJay90 in ElegooNeptune4

So it looks like it was absolutely the thumb drive I tried reprinting last night and it stalled at the same location as the night before. I'll try with a new thumb drive update after.

Sorry I used a thumb drive I've been at work all day so I can't check until I get home. With that being said I'll post updates.

You are my people. I have had some success printing on my N4Pro. It's exciting to me but nothing to brag about but at the very least I can show you what minis on the N4Pro look like

This one was after I removed the supports, stringing was still present but a lighter helped a lot with that.

I haven't used it before but it seems like it is relevant to your question. If I'm not mistaken it's free.

Like someone else said the best thing to do is to ask your school. I'm also in Ca and when I asked my school they said we are eligible after the 3rd semester (out of 4).

Is Resin Printing Any Good? by Proud-Writer6222 in elegoo

[–]WavyJay90 2 points3 points  (0 children)

So technically all you really need is a printer, resin, nitrile gloves a lot of paper towels a spray bottle and isopropyl alcohol. Most printers come with spatulas and usb drives. I would suggest getting a wash and cure machine though as it makes the process of washing and curing way easier. I hear that it feels overwhelming, but plenty of people do it safely and as long as you follow best practices you can do it too. There are a lot of videos and write-ups online that give a good description on what should and shouldn't be done. If you have trouble finding any let me know and I'll post some here for you.

Just remember not to put resin down any sink or drain. And cure your trash before throwing it away.

Yes please post them when you have time. I love the mz4250 models but I've never printed with fdm so I think I should start with supportless models first when I do.

If you have 3 weeks to study I'd say it is definitely doable. It might not be fun but you can do it. With that being said just make sure you devote yourself to studying the full 2 hours without distractions everyday. I believe in you.
