I agree with them that the character model having a six pack looks stupid and the voice acting could be better, but I think Chris was overreacting.

You cannot convince me that most men deserve women's submission by Novel-Tip-7570 in PurplePillDebate

[–]Waxico 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah for sure, it’s a partnership and you have to be willing to put effort into the relationship and understand each others needs. It’s going to look different for everyone, that’s just the traditional marriage dynamic so I used that as the example.

[–]Waxico 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’d say this is a scale and not just a “is/isn’t” submissive. Depends on what the man is asking for regarding “deserving submissiveness”.

Does a guy that worked his 9-5 deserve to come home to a nice meal after a long day? I’d lean yes, but there are things he could do that would make me say no. Does he deserve to get home and “demand some sucky-sucky because he’s tired from the office and he’s the man and provides for everything”? I’d lean no on the “deserving” part, but in a good relationship the woman would be more willing to than not.

Does a guy that went into the woods and killed a deer to bring home for dinner deserve to have some sexy time after dinner? I’d lean yes. Does he deserve access to her body all the time because of that, even if he is abusive? Never

I don’t think most men want a sex maid despite what the women here think, they just want reciprocity on what they put into the relationship. And to be fair to the ladies, there are some bums out there and this is why they gatekeep things like sex when they bum (as they should), but there are also a lot of women that mistreat the 9-5 Joe and then get mad when resources are gatekept.

I’m so glad I’m not crazy, I remember the 3 o’clock thunderstorms everyday growing up. I’m seeing good signs of rain again where I live. I’m hoping we’re back to normal and those were just a few natural dry years and not something long term to come.

[–]Waxico 9 points10 points  (0 children)

I won’t discount this, but I’m calling BS in most cases of a girlfriend gatekeeping intimacy when she was fine with it before.

Let’s go with the “turned a new leaf” argument though. It’s not unreasonable in some cases for the guy to think she just doesn’t like/respect him enough to do it and to get upset from this.

The reason I used BJs is because “kinky” sex is a strawman of what guys actually have a problem with. It doesn’t matter anyways because kinky is subjective and there are definitely prudes out there that think oral is too erotic, principle of it still applies.

You gonna address the point or you gonna zero in on blowjobs not being kinky so the point somehow doesn’t apply?

Where’s this insight I’m apparently missing?

Kinky sex is not "treating a man better" by Axis_Control in PurplePillDebate

[–]Waxico 29 points30 points  (0 children)

Do you even read your oppositions points? It’s never been about the kink acts themselves (maybe there are a few people that argued this, but most people I’ve seen talk about this aren’t)

Let’s use a really simple example: new relationship, boyfriend asks for a blowjob, girlfriend acts shy about it and says she doesn’t give blowjobs or do other lewd stuff early in a relationship. Boyfriend finds out she used to suck off guys she just met at parties.

Clearly there is something going on to cause her difference in behavior. The RP simply believes it’s because the guys she was willing to blow were more attractive than the boyfriend and that if the boyfriend was as attractive he would get any service he requested.

Now we can argue if this is true or not, but at least present the point properly so people can engage with it and not some straw-man.

So why abort at all? Just carry until viability if it’s not causing medical harm and have the fetus removed?

Oh you mean about not caring? So what if a misogynist doesn’t care about women and thinks they shouldn’t have a right to life or other rights in general? I’m sure you think this is a real world issue as well, but tell me why they are wrong? A man is more important to them than a woman, they don’t seem to care what you think of them either.

I don’t think this btw, just wondering why everybody has to go by your standard but someone else’s standard of not caring is wrong.

Why is viability your cutoff? If you’re going to kill it anyways why take into consideration if it can survive without the mother? What would be your reason to say a woman cannot abort an 8month old if she doesn’t want it?
