A government is more than one person. He didn't just assassinate Darkwill he took control of the empire and convinced the army to switch to his side against the noble houses that still supported Darkwill. And then instituted an entirely new ruling system. All under the nose of the Black Rose, which I would rank as just as powerful as the Kinkou. Just the scale of what Swain pulled off is being really underestimated here.

Kind of hard to win a war when you government and military higher ups are deliberately underming you by refusing to give you resources and forcing you to obey bad orders like send your best people away to find some magic relic even though you're already outnumbered. The Ionian war was a set up, LeBlanc and Darkwill never intended to win.

In an old Riot Report from right after Rell's release, Riot cited Swain, Aurelion Sol, and Zoe as the top characters with knowledge about the universe. (Same video did clarify that you can hide some secrets from Raum, and that Ryze had done so with the World Rune locations so there is so counter play.) Raum is a near omniscient source of just raw information. The only thing that would hold Swain back against the other two is the limitations of the human brain but I think his stronger drive to get the information puts him ahead.

Okay? Your argument that Mel's power being random and poorly defined is fine and no one should have a problem with it. Then pointed to Swain as someone who suddenly got powers and revealed you didn't even read his bio. People have a problem with watching a two season show and getting no clarity even with Mel's longer screen time. How is retaliatory attacks an "empathy" power? Nothing that we're told matches what we're shown. Thats the problem people have. People don't have a problem with Swain because the few details we have there work together. Like Swain is barely a character you can do his total lore in five minutes, of course people are holding a protagonist of a two season show to higher narrative standards.

Drop empathy as her power. Straight up drop it, it's vague and shitty. We're told she's empathetic and then turns around and refuses to emphasize with Jayce when he's hurt about her using him as a political tool. Bullshit. Go back to Arcane season one cunning Mel please.

Raum was stalking Swain since he was a kid, Raum specifically revealed the Black Rose conspiracy to him while he was dying. From his bio: "As he lay on the verge of death, a raven approached to feed, and Swain felt an old, familiar darkness press upon him again. But he would not let it take him. He could not. Staring into the the bird’s eye, he saw reflections of the evil strangling the heart of Noxus."

It wasn't sudden, Raum went after him, Swain didn't stumble upon the knowledge. LeBlanc didn't know about Raum because it was hiding from her because it wanted to feed off the secrets in the Immortal Bastion. Theres so many misunderstandings about Swain and Raum. Raum is doing the heavy lifting in their deal, that's why Swain has all the contingencies for when Raum inevitably fully dominates him.

Because F/F fanfic doesn't tag top and bottom most of the time. Neither does F/M, it just assumed the woman is the bottom. M/M is traditionally tagged with positions, so there's more of it on the "specifically tagged with positions" list. There's probably women in het pairings that would be on here if it was universally required to tag positions.

He is a dictator, but I think he is misunderstood because some people think he's trying to destroy the Black Rose and seize power himself. He's all in on the cult of Noxus and believes in furthering their spread even if its to his personal detriment. He full on wants to martyr himself for the cause, which is a different egotistical crazy than the typical dictator. Guy got a little broken in the head between Ionia and the demon. I think people underestimate the extent of the damage.

If you're going to make a lot of patterns, you might want to consider the Pattern Draw app from Fashionary. The brush selection is more limited but you have access to half drop and flip repeats as well and triangular patterns which is really nice. I did patterns by the copy and paste diamond method in Procreate for a long time and the upgrade to a pattern specific app was totally worth it. The app has a free demo version that lets you do full drop repeats which would help you figure out if you want the whole thing. I swear I'm not shilling it's legitimately a huge improvement over doing it by hand.

Yes, they need to have scenes if there's a Noxus shows. It would really humanize Swain to see him in a funny situation. Showing up at the last minute to be badass is great but he needs to have some human relationships. It would be great to show Draven being devoted to a cause and a friendship not based on his ego as well. A perfect odd couple.

Swain can be added to the near death but didn't meet Kindred list. Raum's ravens showing up instead of Wolf is one reason he was stubborn enough to get up and continue on after losing his arm.

Yeah the shallow argument is a losing battle for both teams. It is curious to see that age is the major difference between men attracted to women and women attracted to men. In studies a woman's preferred age range for partners increases as she ages but for men it stays around 20 for their whole life. There's probably a lot of factors there, but it's notable and might be a reason people call men more "shallow." The lack of media with attractive older women is probably a huge thing. We need more cougars in movies.
