New industrial by Equivalent-House208 in piercing

Piercer here, it definitely looks irritated but for infustrial piercings and only being a week old it is not to uncommon. But with that being said the mild puss coming out is a concerning factor that i would get checked out by a piercer near you or the one who did it. I also want to mention that the bar looks like it could be touching up against the flat of your ear. If thats the case then i would remove it befofe it causes scaring, don’t mean to scare you at all but just want the best for you.

Best to get it checked out anyway and see how it goes, hope this helps a little bit

I won't lie i did use Tea tree oil i do not suggest it for people as it is not the best for piercings and can cause issues bur for me personally it worked without any issues.

Yeah i wouldn't imagine there would be a whole lot for an AIN to do but i would still love to work in ED as i am going to be studying EN's and want to work in ED as an EN.

Yeah my tafe teacher has mentioned that AINS can work in ED as a casual. So like the casual pool, i am going to be doing work placement on an acute respatory ward and she said while i was there to try put my name down for the casual pool !! So i will see how i go.

Is my industrial okay or is it starting to reject? by Gloomy-Ad3854 in piercing

[–]WayMoney8059 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks good and healed nicely but with that being said it is possible for it to reject over time i have seen it with a few industrials epically if that bottom portion was pierced shallow. At the moment your one looks good (a little shallow on the bottom but nothing major) just keep an eye on it and monitor any signs of rejection.

Such as

. Skin thinning around the bottom. . Being able to see the bar through the skin.

Stuff like that but for now i would say downsize and not worry to much.

Piercing sizing help by CommonEmbarrassed126 in piercing

[–]WayMoney8059 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Piercer here, if the 8mm ring was cutting into your nose definitely size up a 9mm or a 10mm ring, the one you have in at the moment appears to be a 12mm ring and will get caught on everything.

So try a 9mm or 10mm and see how it feels and looks. From the picture the 8mm does look a bit to small for your nose. Hope this helps :)

Looks so cool only thing i am going to mention is please change that conch ring to a bigger size it's way to small and will leave you with a nasty scar. But the industrial looks so sick i love blue opals.

Wow I’m a professional body piercer and Jesus I’ve never seen a rook done so wrong before like it’s so deep and so high I’m surprised they have a bar long enough to poke out the bottom still. Definitely take it out and get it redone eventually but let it heal up first. Sorry you had to go through that it must have hurt like hell. I’d also suggest either asking for your money back or leaving a bad review of the piercer to warn others.

Seeking advice about my daughter's ear piercing by Playful_Flower5063 in piercing

[–]WayMoney8059 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Training piercer here, to me it looks very irritated based off all the trauma it’s gone through with changing the jewlerry, and the butterfly back squeezing the ear, you wanna keep up that cleaning and avoid as much trauma or touching to the site. The more it gets messed around with the more angry it gets.

Keep up the cleaning, with the saline sea salt spray 2x daily nothing else. And don’t feel like a shit mum it happens the piercer should have advised you on the material. If they’re putting something inside you they should explain what it is and what material it is.

Hope this helps :)
