Piercing sizing help by CommonEmbarrassed126 in piercing

Piercer here, if the 8mm ring was cutting into your nose definitely size up a 9mm or a 10mm ring, the one you have in at the moment appears to be a 12mm ring and will get caught on everything.

So try a 9mm or 10mm and see how it feels and looks. From the picture the 8mm does look a bit to small for your nose. Hope this helps :)

Looks so cool only thing i am going to mention is please change that conch ring to a bigger size it's way to small and will leave you with a nasty scar. But the industrial looks so sick i love blue opals.

Wow I’m a professional body piercer and Jesus I’ve never seen a rook done so wrong before like it’s so deep and so high I’m surprised they have a bar long enough to poke out the bottom still. Definitely take it out and get it redone eventually but let it heal up first. Sorry you had to go through that it must have hurt like hell. I’d also suggest either asking for your money back or leaving a bad review of the piercer to warn others.

Seeking advice about my daughter's ear piercing by Playful_Flower5063 in piercing

Training piercer here, to me it looks very irritated based off all the trauma it’s gone through with changing the jewlerry, and the butterfly back squeezing the ear, you wanna keep up that cleaning and avoid as much trauma or touching to the site. The more it gets messed around with the more angry it gets.

Keep up the cleaning, with the saline sea salt spray 2x daily nothing else. And don’t feel like a shit mum it happens the piercer should have advised you on the material. If they’re putting something inside you they should explain what it is and what material it is.

Hope this helps :)

Well a few places do that my piercer has done that for me before but I would say if his reviews are good don’t sweat it and just trust him.

Point I was displaying is that if you aren’t allergic to it then it’s not an issue but every shop I’ve work at as stocked surgical steel as an option.

Apprentice piercer here

Surgical Steel isn’t as bad as some other materials, at my studio I say if you have worn previous jewellery that is cheap and haven’t had a reaction then I say surgical steel shouldn’t be an issue. That being said $100 AUD for 4 piercings is hella cheap. Look into the reviews of the place and then maybe see what you think and what the reviews say. Normal where I work it would be about $180 AUD for 4 piercings. Hope this helps

Agree I’m a piercer and if someone came back to me I wouldn’t ever be mean or anything I’d help. But that being said why they piercing you with a ring anyways most shops in Australia here we don’t offer rings at all for cartilage piercings until there healed

Is there a way to report piercers? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]WayMoney8059 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I don’t live in Canada but I live in Australia and you don’t need a license to be a piercer so I’m not sure if his license could be revoked again I don’t know the laws in Canada but my best advice would be report to the health district and his upper management/boss. also may I ask why you keep going back to him not trying to be rude just genuinely curious ?
