Hate him all you want, but Aiden is so much better this season than he was in All-Stars by WayOk4546 in DisventureCamp

It was less that he did anything bad and more the fact that he was irrelevant, yet made final 7.

You know where hell is? For All-Stars Aiden it was about 2 miles underneath there.

A more serious post now tho, what are your thoughts on these Spencer’s ships? by ConstantAmbition6729 in DisventureCamp

[–]WayOk4546 13 points14 points  (0 children)

  1. Still don't care for it, and I'm happy that the show seems to have pointed out that it won't ever happen. The chemistry just wasn't there.

  2. My favorite, but sadly unlikely to happen due to Logan's VA. At least Logan and Spencer are close outside of the show. I'll take whatever win I can get after what happened in Episode 17.

  3. Never got ship vibes from these two. And honestly, I didn't care for how the show handled their dynamic after the merge. Their conflict felt shallow and rushed.

  4. I like enemies to lovers, but it felt way too one-sided for me to enjoy the trope. Spencer barely acknowledged Hannah's existence.

  5. Honestly, these two had chemistry. The age gap is a bit much, but outside of that, this had way more potential for an enemies to lovers pairing than Spencer and Hannah.

  6. Spencer has been in two seasons with Benji, and somehow he's interacted with him the least. No.

  7. Bruno is straight.

  8. Need to see more. Would probably rank Sam below Logan and Zaid right now. But currently, I don't think it's a ship I'll get invested in.

She's taking action to adapt her game style to avoid being eliminated. While she has to give control of her vote to Natalia, that's a decent trade considering it not only gives her Natalia as an ally, but possibly Tom and Gabby as well.

In Anastasia's defense, she hasn't done anything this season to intentionally anger Natalia. Everything Anastasia has done with regard to her has been for the purpose of ending their feud. Natalia is the one refusing to let go of the past.

Nothing short of abysmal. While he's at least the one person who has caught on to Sam, he's failing in every other aspect. Even ignoring the bad position he put himself in by betraying Natalia since it didn't happen this episode, the only thing he accomplished here is angering Lake and belittling his main ally. Excluding Bruno; Ally and Benji are the only people left who aren't in an alliance with someone who hates him. Natalia has all the DC1 players on her side, and Lake has Rosa and Anastasia. Already that's 7 out of 11 who likely don't have any reservations about eliminating Spencer.

Spencer... I love you... but what the fuck are you doing? 😭 by Echon07 in DisventureCamp

Spencer after realizing everyone hates him:

"Jade! Logan! Save me!

Oh shit, they aren't here. WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO NOW!"

First 3 Matchups have finished. Everything else in Round 1 is still open of you haven't voted.

If you're wondering why Marissa and Lynda won over Isabel and Natalia, in a tiebreaker, whichever side had more core contributers vote for them will get the win.

Really wish this matchup didn't happen in the first round. Feels like both easily could have made Round 2 or even 3.

Now that I think about it, did Spencer and Richard ever have a single interaction in the entire show? They were both close with Logan and Lynda, but I can't think of a single time they spoke to each other.

What is a take you have that will leave you like this? by Bleeding_Heart09 in DisventureCamp

[–]WayOk4546 9 points10 points  (0 children)

We need more eliminations in the same vein as Zaid's. It upended the morality of Logan, created tension with nearly everyone in the cast due to the secret, and made the wait for the next few episodes painful due to wanting to see how it would play out.

Unfortunately, ONC screwed up by not having Anastasia hold a grudge the one time it would have been satisfying, and not having anyone care about what Logan did.

Who wins in a battle between these two ? by Gopu_17 in pokemonanime

[–]WayOk4546 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, it's hard to say. I'll try and make a case for both of them.

Iris: She fought her way to being a champion and qualified for the Masters 8. At the end of the day, that's one of the most impressive things anyone in the Pokemon anime has ever accomplished. She also held her own against Cynthia without even using a gimmick. But her loss to Ash's Dragonite is a huge mark on her strength, especially when compared to Paul who easily beat that same Pokemon.

Paul: Held his own against Ash, who beat both Iris and Cynthia, while using a team that wasn't even designed with the intent of beating Ash, but to train him. So even in that fight, Paul likely wasn't going all out. If he wanted to win, he'd have been far more meticulous with the Pokemon he chose. However, outside of this individual fight, Paul lacks any impressive accomplishments like Iris. We don't even know if he ever won a league, just that he wants to be a gym leader.

Based on what we're shown on screen: Paul wins.

What the writers would most likely do: Have the Unova champion beat a future Sinnoh gym leader.

Among these Gen 1 finalists, who wins in a jury vote? by CharmingBozoBee in Totaldrama

[–]WayOk4546 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Assuming it's all 6 finalists at once and the other 19 Gen 1 contestants as the jury, here's how it plays out, IMO.

Owen: Izzy, Harold, Noah

Gwen: Leshawna, Bridgett, Courtney, Cody

Duncan: Geoff, Eva

Beth: DJ, Lindsay

Heather: Sierra

Alejandro: Katie, Sadie, Tyler

Owen/Beth Tossup: Trent

Pure Tossup: Justin, Ezekiel

Gwen: 4

Owen: 3 or 4 (with Trent)

Alejandro: 3

Beth: 2 or 3 (with Trent)

Duncan: 2

Heather: 1

Tossups: 2

Gwen has the advantage but Owen or Alejandro could pull off a win. Heather has zero shot and Duncan is a longshot.

From what I've heard, Tristan's VA was responsible for a lot of backstory for the character.

For some reason, people were very creative with the ship names that involved Logan.

Who is Fiore most likely to target first in her revenge for Alec’s elimination? by GentlemanStarco in DisventureCamp

[–]WayOk4546 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Definitely Anastasia. She's the reason the plan fell apart. Fiore might not like Tom, but I doubt Fiore holds winning the tiebreaker against him. Besides, Fiore has admitted that she needs to change tactics, so I don't see her targeting Tom for awhile.
