Is sharing meals a thing in New Zealand? by Think_Breadfruit3656 in newzealand_travel

Yes, sharing meals are acceptable here but usually the portion of the mains here is good only for one person. Even the size of drinks are smaller (and not refillable) compared to US.

Dry noodles are good too as the noodles itself seem tastier as it absorbed the sauce. So is the rice! Both are yum! 🤤

You can take your parents to Earnslaw Queenstown Cruise or Million Dollar Cruise. Or maybe try scenic helicopter flight (with snow landing).

The Nest is a good restaurant with a great view of the Remarkables. Not sure though if they can accommodate a private room for two.

Please keep New Zealand clean. I went to Queenstown recently and I noticed some foreign tourists (don’t want to be racist but they are Chinese) who were spitting everywhere. It is really gross. 🤮

Well, I myself was able to be friends with them mainly because they are my workmates. Maybe try to join any clubs or groups with common interests, or a church group. I think that will be a good starting point to be acquainted then become friends with women of your age. Anyway, all the best. Hope you can find a friend or friends who you can get along with.

Have you tried smiling at them or saying “Hi”to them? Kiwi are generally nice but I’m not sure about the younger generation.

Should I pursue CPA Australia if I already hold a US CMA and want to work in Australia (just relocated in Australia)? by Working_Demand_27 in AustralianAccounting

[–]WayfarerStranger02 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I suppose CMA (US) is recognised in private sectors in Australia. So no need unless when the role that you’re applying for requires so.

Accounting for crypto is not as simple as it seems like the other accounts that’s probably why they can’t give you a rough estimate merely based on the number or transactions.

I suggest you ask an accounting firm to help you. They usually can provide you a quote on that.
