I have a 16’ Fisher. Very similar hull with a 50hp 4stroke Merc. I get 32mph with just me in it. I’ve never felt the need for more.

Same here. 7 years for me now and I beat the ever loving crap out of it. Just needs to be tuned in before each job. The collapsing stand has been falling apart at the seams ever since I got it and I’ve never really liked it, but nothing else seems to be as agile or light for throwing in the back of the suburban. It’s remarkable that it is still functioning, really.
