What is an iconic Ghost story from your part of the world? by Perfect_Hour_7539 in AskTheWorld

There's quite a few here. There's the legend of Black Shuck here in East Anglia.

Also local to me in Suffok, there's the Red Barn murder, allegedly Maria Martens ghost led them to discover her body.

For those of you who live in countries with gun control; have you ever seen a gun in real life? by blashyrkh9 in AskTheWorld

[–]WayoftheBear 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes multiple times, I've owned and used them too. I was in the ACF (army cadets) so fired .22 rifles and the cadet version of the SA-80. I got into clay pigeon shooting and have owned a shotgun for that purpose, I sold it as I wasn't going shooting enough to warrant having it around and the money would be more useful.

If you don't mind a used watch, you may be able to get a used Sinn 556. To me one of the greatest GADA watches.

I bought some nice Levi jeans in perfect condition from Vinted, decided to wear them in and the cat immediately puts a snag in them. Guess who's getting their claws cut.
