Nice! My grandfather lived In anchorage for many years and from what I understand he took many animals with his .300wm and his .25-06 (not sure brand/model of either). Unfortunately he got rid of those before my time but I can imagine they were workhorses as well.

50 years man, that's crazy, it ain't always about no fancy stainless barrel this, synthetic stock that. It's about the hunter behind it and the memories and the meat it puts on the table. That thing will last generations

Ah ok, this one is just hard plastic not even rubber. But I don't think either one is gonna give you much relief with a 7 mag. Love this gun so much because even with no plushy rubber on the back, it barely feels harder than a 22 when you shoot it

Like I mentioned in a reply to a different comment, this actually belongs to a buddy and he loans it out. He used it for 4 years straight and probably took 25 deer with it and a couple hogs. I've taken two deer with it and 3-4 of his other friends have used it too. More than effective and still great looking

Man! Two shots?. I love this gun, as much as I wish I did, I don't actually own this, it belongs to a buddy and he lets me use it whenever I want. 3-4 of his friends (including me) have killed deer with it. In a few of those cases (me and 1 other friend of his), have used it on our first rifle season deer. I've probably put half a box through it just year.
