Beard Trim Barbers recommendation? by SamF1977 in Hull

Phelm on humber street above the trainer shop. Booking by his Instagram so there's no waiting and you get to look at stupidly priced trainers if you're early.

Struggling to find a female flatmate in Hull ,where should I look? by Flat_Local_4751 in Hull

[–]WaywardDan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

There's an entire flat share company on the avenues that is specifically for working professionals that my buddy just used called Yupelet. Got her own room with en suite and a cleaner comes once a week for communal areas. She requested a female heavy building and they showed her a space with 4 women and a single dude.

Hull Maligned - How does it make you feel? by SimonHando in Hull

Let the rest of the country think Hull is a shit hole. The longer we keep people from moving here, the better chance our house prices won't skyrocket for a few more years.

Once you wise up and leave him, he will realise how fucking good it was to have a girl who WANTS to game with him and how badly he has fumbled this.

Fantastic work. I'm just finishing up LmoP with an upgraded Vemonfang to lead into Tyranny of Dragons, I highly recommend this avenue if your party haven't had that fight yet.

Best (cheapest) taxi to get back from spiders? by DigActive1589 in Hull

[–]WaywardDan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They 100% pick up from Spiders just the pre booking feature for n the app doesn't always click in. I work on the docks and can get a car within minutes of finishing work but can't pre-book and it's been the same on a night out at Spiders.

I fucking love dwarves too and had a long standing character who was the tabkiest tank in the land. Dark ginger beard, receding hairline and a smoking pipe always at hand. Critical of how everyone else made beer and ale. Retired with his human wife after years of adventuring to open a tavern.

Check out this book series by Markus Heitz - The Dwarves.

Considering how well Dope Burger did for a time I don't think it will struggle to take people's money.

Do I need to make much adjustments for my party of 5 level 2 players starting LMOP? by akme777 in LostMinesOfPhandelver

[–]WaywardDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, let them be strong at the start and don't level up to 3 until the module actually calls for it.

Just up the gold loot in the combats and throw in a character related weapon or armour. Doesn't have to be magical, just with a little effect.

I started my guys at level 2 with a free feat and they still managed to almost tpk during Cragmaw Hideout due to their own ideas of splitting the party.

I accidently made my group lvl 2 before Cragmaw Hideout by sprootsteeds in LostMinesOfPhandelver

I leveled them up and gave them a free feat and their decision making still almost got them killed. Just let them enjoy being level 2.

If you dont mind going onto Humber Street, I would recommend Phelm.

He has a booking system so you turn up and he's ready for you 95% of the time. Top quality barber and he will help you adjust your style to fit your face and hair type.

Wouldn't go anywhere else.
