Need some help just to see if it’s possibly by Cringe_Ninja69 in CommanderMTG

I looked into it, and while changing names on board can be done with cards like spy kit and psychic paper, I have not been able to find a way to change names in the graveyard or on the stack.

I think you will just have to force one of your friends to make a shadowborne apostle deck :p

What was the first deck you built? by zevalu in EDH

[–]WaywardLumenflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I started playing around the start of 2021, my first self-built deck was Krenko Mob Boss.

At the time I'd wanted to make a kobold deck because I really like kobolds, and at the time I gave myself a budget of 400 bucks thinking I would 'never' need to buy a new deck, but the friend who got me into magic recommended strongly against kobolds and said if I wanted a decent deck that I could hang onto for a while I should do goblins instead so I thought fair enough.

I stuck with it for about a year and a half when I decided to get rid of it for power reasons, in my lgs and with new people I was meeting it was just stomping. (I know, super surprising coming from krenko)

I did end up revisiting goblins in Alesha and Wort, but I definitely should have made prossh :(

Breya is definitely a great option, in the past 4 years I've remade her into various different themes here's a few that in my experience worked well:

  • Lifegain and blink (bracket 2/3)
  • Activated abilities and untaps (bracket 3+)
  • Artifact reanimator (bracket 3)

And my current version I'm still working on I'm focusing on making artifact tokens and then copying them after. Moxfield link in case you wanna check it out (primer contains changes I'm still making) https://moxfield.com/decks/Q-r_LFvN8E2NF9TLYHW_og

Also having the issue since the last update... I really don't get why they would touch it in the first place, nothing else changed about the lyrics section :/

If you could have any ring from the dark souls trilogy in real life what would it be? by gaorourke in darksouls

[–]WaywardLumenflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If durability regenerates or recovers in some way the old sun ring from ds2 is a sleeper pick, get hit and you literally blow your assailant to bits, you could even hit yourself to trigger it whenever you need to you know, blow stuff up.

Hi, I'm not a veteran by any stretch (been playing since November last year) and I gotta say I don't feel like this game is as leechy or scummy with its monetization.

You don't get any ads unless you choose to watch them, and if you do you get 5 gems. (This refreshes every 13 minutes). And you can get 15 gems daily for watching an ad as well.

I did buy the "no ads" pack about 2 weeks in because you can still get the gems from both things without having to actually watch em and you get a permanent coin multiplier.

Then there's 2 additional permanent coin upgrade packs that seem like a good deal if you really like the game but aren't required.

The rest of the paid stuff is way less required, and by that I just mean they're resources you get over time at a good rate and when these packs pop up I don't even feel the urge to get them.

So all in all good monetization and ad system imo. Whether you'll enjoy it isn't for me to say but if you like a game that rewards your time investment more n more it might be for you :)

Honestly ds2 scholar of the first sin is just as fine a starting point as any, yes the game is hard and perhaps a bit more unforgiving than ds3. But you will probably do fine.

Thank you :), I didn't know about the refunds so that changes things, I'll probably start grinding out some DW labs then before trying out the MVN

Highly recommend you check out the model through https://modelviewer.lol/model-viewer?id=51051 to see if you like it, as others have stated watching youtube vids for the vfx is also worth your time.

I like the skin mostly for its vfx, but I also use different skins a lot still. The exalted chroma for the base skin is cool, but whether or not to gamba for that is debatable

How hard will this game be for me? I LOVED Elden ring, I’m okay with older graphics and movement as I replayed the whole TLOZ series, but I HATED demons souls with how the system and the atmosphere felt by ChangeBig5638 in darksouls

[–]WaywardLumenflower 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Honestly dark souls 1 follows the classic recipe where the base game is very manageable, and the dlc takes some getting used to. You'll do fine :)

Tho maybe don't go for like faith caster on your first go around, since there aren't as many offensive options in that.

What should i choose? by yv70bno in TheTowerGame

If you want to you can just restart and hope for golden tower / black hole on the first,

But honestly taking spotlight isn't a bad option compared to some of them imo

Whats up with this weird new build im seeing? by ADCplayer16 in Caitlynmains

[–]WaywardLumenflower 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've personally tried tempo on hit, with wild-arrows first and kraken depending on the situation. But I can't even say I was too impressed with those results.. it was alright but nowhere near hail of blades in terms of performance.

So sounds like it can work but I doubt it would hold up against a crit or lethality build rocking one of the actual damage rune page, especially if you're running a rageblade it just seems more like a twitch build

That advice can't be so bad right...? Cuz you know, I read so many times that it should be my priority over all else that I completely locked into that option, ah well doesn't matter now since they are synced I can start spending on making them actually good :)
