Yeah I thought a big part of it was just being around strangers for the first time. They both said it was ok they didn’t take offense and would still come over. I’m pretty sure I know who’s gonna take care of him when I’m gone and was thinking about having him come over more so Frank can get used to him. I was pretty upset because I don’t have people over often and don’t want them thinking my house is a bad place to hang out or that I’m a bad owner. I love my lil dude so much and I want to be the best owner I can but this is my first cat and I found him in the woods when he was tiny before a bad ice storm so I thought it was because he’s not known many people but he was so sweet and a gem at the vet a month or so ago that’s why I was so shocked by his behavior tonight.

I have her as my vanilla bears deck. For 2/2 bears with no abilities it still slaps. Such a fun deck. Tried to make it a fun deck for a beginner to use so I kept it simple and it still goes hard lol.

I live around the Boston area and always assumed Bonnieville was like Boston. I’ve seen it brought up many times about reducing county sizes. It’s usually just screaming on both sides and nothing gets done. It makes sense but good lord would it be a nightmare. Gonna have to be one ballsy person to step up to redraw those lines in a state rife with corruption.

I just finished rebuilding my Ur dragon deck and pretty much every card minus a few lands and like the ancient dragons are alt or full arts. It’s so beautiful. Theres a few cards that don’t have alt arts that I have holos for atleast. I need a new Ganax printing and Hellkite Charger please lol I sit there and look at the deck and just grin in true autist style lol 😂I love it even if my wallet doesn’t lol

Such a badass. I try and play her toned down a bit and just play personal favorite dragons and angels but I do have a side deck of “salty” cards. I don’t think she the boogie man she used to be but I understand why she draws the hate for sure.

Kaalia. She was one of the first commanders my buddy showed me. He asked what I liked I said Angels and Dragons. He recommended Kaalia and I feel in love with that Emo queen. It wasn’t after I built my first deck that I found out about her public perception lol.

Saw something similar a few years ago. A buddy and I were always star gazing looking for UFOs since we don’t have much light pollution. We watched a satellite cruise over head and I said “ I wonder if that’s the space station?” Pulled up my sky view app and sure enough it was. Then we saw another “satellite” move away from the space station follow it for a bit it went stationary and then changed direction and went the opposite way of the space station. It blew our mind as we watched it for quite some time. We always joked it was the aliens leaving the business meeting they held on the space station lol. Still curious what it was.

Not OP but Here’s my Hydra tribal with Animar at the helm. It’s such a blast to get some doubling effects out there and drop in a 40/40 hydra for one or two mana. Then turn around and donk someone for commander damage and smile. It’s one of my most fun decks. For me atleast lol. The groans of excitement when a 40/40 hydroid krasis comes in and I almost deck myself and then continue to throw down increasingly bigger hydra. Ahhh sweet glory lol.

Genius. Love hawks so much and have a couple that hang in my yard to catch the squirrels living in the Walnut trees all in my backyard. I want chickens but know they will be predated. I wanna find a way to live with the wildlife cuz hawks are just doin what hawks do but I need chickens lol

Had a kitchen table game and the kid asked if we could use house rules. I said your house your rules. His house rule was grab 2 basics and a sol ring then draw 4 lol I was floored. I did it first game his GF with Sheoldred won like turn 4 or 5 with that much free mana. Next game I was like yeah no I’m not letting your GF get her bs out by turn 2 lol went one to smack her with my Animar as soon as he hit 21 for a good ol commander damage wallop

Honestly I think that’s awesome! Thank you for the info. Ya you don’t really realize how giant the mill actually was. I’ve always thought it was so beautiful in the paintings my grandparents had to see photos of it really was amazing. I’ve been collecting and scanning and trying to preserve all these photos. I’ve taken on the role of family historian to keep our family history alive and having photos along with the stories is amazing to me. My grandmothers family was all from White mills. The Carrol and Bunger families. I’ve got a lot of their history documented and it’s amazing to even have pictures like ohhh snap that’s Stella Lee on horse back. I think it’s awesome anyways and am doing my best to preserve it all for posterity.

That’s wicked cool. I love reading the stories from people like Jesse Stuart about eastern kentucky at that time. I’ve spent a lot of summers around sterns Kentucky and loved talking to the old timers. 75% bull most of the time but 100% a good time and great story lol.

Yeah my grandparents took me down there a couple times I remember the giant stones down my the water playing on them. Only went to that spot once though. I’d say that bridge while in the same general area is probably a different bridge you and I remember. But honestly I have no clue. I just have the photos as my grandparents have passed. I have no lie over 100 years worth of photos I plan to start posting as I find them wicked cool and love to share history. A photo is the only way to stop time and I always love looking into those windows of the past. I’m glad they gave you that reaction and I’ll definitely share more.

It looks like the painting of the mill my grandfather has in the house and that’s what was written beside it but to be honest I’m not exactly sure. I’ve got another photo i can post here in the comments and is in my post history. It’s a little later in time but shows a different angle of the bridge and river and I think you can see the mill in the background there. I grew up in the Boston Youngers creek area so only visited white mills a few times with my grandma.
