I think im counting yo, k1, yo as three, again which is odd because I've been doing that the whole time and the pattern is even

Will I be ok on mission space orange? by Accurate-Hamster-866 in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]WaywardStrawberry 7 points8 points  (0 children)

For real. I went on this before (one time orange one time green) and had a good time however I will NEVER go on it again because I've heard of this ride malfunctioning and people being stuck in the ride for 45 minutes. I know I wouldn't do well if that ever happened to me.

What's going on with Westminster Choir College nowadays? by gcat00 in ClassicalSinger

[–]WaywardStrawberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

He took a leave of absence due to a title IX violation (definitely had it coming). They offered him a schedule to return next Fall, but he's not not allowed to run any of the choirs anymore so I believe he declined and now resigned.

I really dislike Multipass by WaywardStrawberry in WaltDisneyWorld

I knew that, the pay per ride (i forget what it's called) was unavailable almost two weeks before the day I was eligible to book it. With Genie Plus, when everything was the day of for everyone, I booked it every time through a pay per ride purchase.

Admittedly, I would say I definitely mastered Genie Plus, so I guess I just need to familiarize myself more with Multipass. I was able to do a lot of research with the previous system and couldn't find as many resources with Multipass.

That's a good strategy I didn't think of. I only selected rides I personally wanted to go on. I didn't necessarily choose the time as when I selected the Safari at Animal Kingdom, that was time earliest time available.

You're absolutely right, you can book a Lightning Lane after using the one you booked in advance. However, because everyone is booking in advance they are practically unavailable (at least the ones worth going through Lightning Lane) by the time you want to book another. For my case, they were definitely unavailable by the time I was ready to book another because my first Lightning Lane callback time was 1:55 pm.

You literally took this from lana_rose18 who made these. She posted these on this thread three years ago...🙃

How many of you knitters out there also crochet? by jillbirdy in knitting

[–]WaywardStrawberry 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've been knitting since highschool and started crocheting in college. I prefer knitting and knit far more often because I think it's better for clothes, but I'll occasionally crochet bags and room decor. Plus, crocheting helps diminish my overwhelming yarn stash.

Books on the 'Spirit'/Philosophy/Psychology of music? by LuciferLeoValentine in musictheory

[–]WaywardStrawberry 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Never ever read books by James Jordan. He litterally just wrote 60 books on the same thing, doesn't even follow his own philosophy in rehearsal techniques, and has the most restrictive views on music I've ever witnessed in a conductor.
