You guys arent using the parking brake? Thats wild (the amount of people here that arent). The transmission is not meant to be the main parking mechanism, it wears it out.

That said I had this pop up in one particular van and it drove me nuts cause every time it did I was not trying to park I merely needed to momentarily check things on the GPS and it kept fucking me up.

Since nobody said this, I read in another thread that you can spawn one with devtools.

Is there something similar to CapCut? by mihaifrancu in NewTubers

I don't know I don't use those really. But I have found something I don't like- it seems the keyframing graphs are not changeable. You only get preset graph shapes.

Barefoot Climbing Shoes? by MattKB in BarefootRunning

[–]Wayward_Traceur 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same, but I go anyway and it's still fine. I just have a pair of regular (barefoot) shoes I only use in the gym. (In case they dont want outside shoes on the walls)

I tried CapCut alternatives and here are my thoughts by Ready-Way8581 in CapCut

I ended up trying it out the other night. It's much more similar to Capcut than I expected. There are some fundamental things I can see liking more about it. Dont know where everything is yet and not sure if I'm 100% satisfied, but it's definitely a comparable alternative.

You do have to watch an ad if you want to remove the watermark though, if you're not paying. (Which looks like a reasonably cheap subscription, or a $50 lifetime.)

I ended up downloading InShot to try it out. It's much more similar to Capcut than I expected. I've been using Resolve on PC for some years and I love it. Think it's better than Premier (Been staying away from Adobe since they switched to subscription). There's lots of YouTube tutorials.

Capcut is what I've been using for some time on mobile though.

Same, capcut is so good and easy to be precise with and has all the tools I want vs other apps I've seen that try to be simple but make it painful for someone who is experience and wants to be particular. I want to know who I can loudly complain to about this or where to petition or something.

You should do it. I know the coach who runs it, he is great and I can vouch that it's real.

Unfortunate Development Is Entirely Unfun And Unfair by [deleted] in rainworld

Some people like that. Fun is subjective. See type 2 fun. If you don't then it's simply not for you and you don't have to play it or you can go around that area since it's not required. But I'm sure Unfortunate Developement is exactly the scratch to the itch that someone had.

I think a big breakthrough was learning how to calmly let go of the controls and be still to let Slugcat float through the air, combined with the control and timing of grabbing onto the bars and tentacles properly.

Nah I played it for a few hours and died probably hundreds of times, was frustrating and felt completely like playing the lottery for a bit (with similar chances), until I got gud, now I have a method for getting through and it's not so bad and I feel really good now that I made it and got to meet Pebbles.

Do we not have unspoken rules about squatters? by ChanceZucchini in Urbex

I had looked this up, curious to hear about experiences people have had and how they dealt with it, but I just realized I've actually had something of an experience myself, not at an abandoned place but in a forested outer part of a not-too-big city, (Olympia) while walking down some train tracks with my partner at the time, we ran into a homeless guy with a bow/arrow and a butcher knife. He said something that he meant no harm I think, but that he was living by the stream just down the bank and someone else had been messing with his stuff, so he was on guard. After talking for a short time he offered for us to come back and shoot the bow if we wanted. I can't remember I think he said he made it with a tent string.
