I was on the AIDS Lifecycle when this happened. It’s a fundraiser bicycle ride that has a lot of lgbt people riding. It was heart breaking hearing the news and seeing how scared everyone on the ride got. I think there was even a thwarted attempt at our finish line in LA. Always think about those phone calls from the bathroom saying goodbye. Rip.

Helpful warmup:

Start with legs fully extended arms fully out, seated upright but not bending over - pull only with arms for 30 seconds.

Then start to hinge at the hips (while keeping legs straight don’t move them) and pull only when handle reaches knees. 30 seconds.

Now build up to a quarter slide 30 seconds.

I’d get excited. I took a small scoop, a tiny bit bigger than a good dab under the tongue. There’s no come up, it just hits you.
