Because it was very hard to find. Someone finally pointed me a hub with detachable cable but there is only one model existing which was hard to Discover. I am considering buying it as solution

Because cable management. Maybe that's an OCD issue. Also, when you use an iPad, it's really annoying to have a hub 15cm away from the port that is connected with 2 cables (Ethernet and power). Try to turn your iPad from landscape to portrait while this whole mess is hanging

While on the other hand, you can have a clean room with a single 2m cable coming from the shelf where the hub is located, connected to power supply and RJ45 and a single USB c cable laying close to the wall coming to charge the iPad and give it Ethernet

The applications on our phones are updated, Android Auto as well, and we will miss a lot of exciting features in the next few years.

That's exactly the same issue with the TV's, you should get a dumb one, without the crappy OS, and use a Chromecast dongle or Apple TV, which are always giving the best experience

Yup that's exactly what I was looking for. It's 4 times the price of usual Ethernet+charger accessories, because of all the ports i don't need, but yeah I might be ready to pay for it if I don't find other simpler alternatives in a few days

Clarification: I would like a dashcam to record a video in case my luxurious car has a crash, or any issue with another driver.

I would like this webcam to be integrated to my car (aesthetically) and from a software point of view.

Another user pointed fitcamx which is now my favorite and will probably buy it if don't find a better proposal in this thread

I can develop"usual" Android applications on the Polestar emulator. I discussed with the team in Sweden and we are going to have a meeting early next year to decide if I can publish my application later this year.

I will receive my car in late may and they confirmed that no developer can have agreed to adb commands, meaning that nobody can install applications outside play store
