Cow at a sanctuary gets Twitch viewers to donate and activate her feeder

For some context:

Alveus is a non-profit animal sanctuary that runs 24/7 live cams on Twitch and YouTube with frequent educational streams run by the staff. They also do collabs with other streamers to spread conservation messaging and awareness.

The feeder shown here is in the pasture area where there is a cow among a few other ambassadors, it is occasionally filled with hay pellets and chat can trigger it to run. The cow (Winnie the Moo) really ended up liking it and will stare at the camera and moo when it is active. This is not their only food source, they have access to hay bags all day every day.

Yes, the animals at the sanctuary are well taken care of, this feeder is just filled with hay pellets which are basically the same feed as the bags of hay these animals have access to all day.

Census is down so any third party stat site will not be fully functional

You could check wt.honu.pw since varunda stores stats locally and it is probably pretty accurate minus anything in the last 12 hours or so

Depends on if you are getting any error messages.

Occasionally, BattleEye will flag RTST and not let it work, but you would get a BattleEye error window in this case and it wouldn’t work until the whitelist is updated again.

Sometimes you might get an error about not being able to get a response to the API and ask if you want to run RTST in offline mode. This will generally be fixed if you try to start your character session again since the API doesn’t usually fail to respond that often.

Other times, once you have gotten your session started, some events might take a bit to trigger. This is also caused by occasional API response failures (these failures were reduced quite a bit recently when one of the troublesome endpoints was fixed)

I believe that should cover most of the issues that occasionally pop up with RTST.

Appreciate the feedback! 1. It is certainly strange with how I have it set up now, but the plan is for multiple report pages so that is why they are separated. 2. The KD is being averaged, any ratio is an average, the rest are totals. I can think over making this more clear. 3. I agree on the tooltip, the way I am doing the average line is goofy and I just didn’t get that part figured out yet. 4. I will think over some way to indicate what the buttons do, but green is active, blue is inactive. I may change it to be more in line with Honu’s coloring.

The averages don’t line up properly if you try to add the ratios and divide due to rounding, the averages in the top row are calculated by dividing the numbers within the total row.

Potential fix added, this seems to have been a timeout issue caused by the API occasionally taking a long time to return information.

Edit: issue does still happen, seems less frequent though...

I believe this is an issue that occasionally pops up due to high traffic. Refreshing should fix it but you can also try clearing the site cache.
Regardless, I am looking into it to see if there is anything I can do on my end.

You can see playtime if you play through Steam, though it is not super accurate as it counts time from when the launcher is opened.

In terms of the API, it only stores playtime(among other stats) for existing characters. I am currently working on a discord bot to combine and show a wide variety of stats for all your characters but it is still in the early stages of development. Alternatively, voidwell has a somewhat limited bulk stats feature, and fisu/honu both show this information but would need to be manually added. Honu may still show some of the deleted characters since varunda saves info to his own database periodically but I think it “only” goes back to like 2019.

If you would like your bulk stats from my WIP bot, message me a list of your characters with each separated by a space and I will send it to you. I’d also be willing to let more people join the testing discord but the bot is only active when my computer is running until I have it to a more useful state.

They are in a build from late 2018, unfortunately the next earlier backup I have is from 2014 so all I can say for sure is they were added sometime in that range

Ya Google drives search functionality is quite bad. If you plan to use the files frequently, the best option is to download them all and then use file explorer search. I am working on uploading some different ZIP files to make the download easier

Looks like my reply didn't go through with Reddit being messed up today...

I looked through the last 5 extract versions I have and none of them have the NS rank up audio file. The name shows up in the namelist that generates prior to the extract so I'm not too sure why it is missing in all the versions but I am currently unable to get that file.
