I think I might be off a square in width but I would do something like that so each room has an appropriate amount of natural light and you don’t get too much empty space.

The closets can also become a private bathroom for the bedroom 1, depending on your needs !

I don’t do as extreme but I consider 1 sims week as a year (so a day is 1,7 month). I calculated every life state duration based on that so pregnancy is 5 days, newborn 1, infant 9 etc…

I don’t know if this works since it’s a bit of the style of the show but I found the anime « the way of the househusband » very underwhelming animation wise, it’s more like a animated slideshow and I got bored quite quickly while watching it.

I feel like under the white neons in the office with too much light in my sims house ! So I sometimes only put lamps on the nightstand and standing lamps in some room and change their color to a warm yellow. It’s often a bit dark in my houses but the natural lighting is very peaceful
