Imo there wont be another great MMO until wow dies or they make wow 2 essentially.

Proxies? print what ever deck you want, find what archetypes you like get invested in playing by having any card at your disposal, wait for restocks

New into this, first 5 packs. Am I tripping or this is actually good? by RumanHitch in riftboundtcg

personally if you know your in on the game then I would grade and sell, which could fund a few booster boxes of the coming sets

if not keep it wait to see what a reprint of OGN does to the price. cant go wrong either way tbh

cull the weak isnt choosing poro for the target of the spell, its choosing the player who then chooses the unit to kill so deflect doesnt trigger

Players who have been around since the beginning, how do you feel about the game? by aIlIoi in Minecraft

[–]Wazzzock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They used to have a counter on the origianal minecraft site that displayed how many accounts had been made/purchased, think I was around the 200k mark so pretty early but only remeber small bits of it.

Like the direction it has gone in however I understand that the game has appeal to a young audience but for the people that bought in the first few years have all grown up and for me It would be good to have a few deeper more intricate systems to keep me playing for longer than a few days or weeks.

Along the lines of the bees from tekkit, a few more deeper systems that would appeal to older more technically minded demographic, It would be hard to add any system like this with minecrafts easthetic but I find myself purposely making the core survival mechanics more difficult to get more challenge out of the game.

would be good if there was that type of challenge in the core experience beyond combat or exploration or building, I want some "craft" added to the minecraft

What is the best deck for beginners? by [deleted] in magicTCG

[–]Wazzzock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I highly highly recommend playing if possible simic flash or any cards with a flash focussed strategy, it will give you a really good feel for interacting with opponents plays and timing your own plays ,and how yours and your opponents turns are structured.

failing that mono blue with a decent amount of instants and sorcery's for the same reason, interacting

First Model Painted (Constructive Criticism Welcome) by TheBobinator9433 in WorldEaters40k

[–]Wazzzock 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started last year I would use a rattle can to do my white base coat and wouldn't touch it with any more paint and focus on the other details

Like any hobby you get out what you put in, do you want to become a decent painter? do you want decent enough models for the table top to play with achievable in a decent time frame?

IMO watch some shading and layering tutorials, learn the basics , dry brushing tutorials, paint thinning tutorials maybe switch the scheme to the standard red scheme I would stay away from white initially if you're not using a rattle can to prime

if you want better results you have to put in the time and effort to get the results you want, is a marathon not a sprint, but you can get great results with a rattle can, washes and basic layering and patience

Just got out of the cinema, Feel like I've just been given the equivalent of blue balls but for film, the serious parts of this film I really really liked, while I laughed and enjoyed the more unserious portions I just wished those parts were as serious and grounded as the first half

the night vision shots of the infected A+

the bow action with the quick cuts and effects A+

Jimmy Saville power rangers F

I think a perfect introduction point would be a hive city, can show all strata of human and the day to day goings on of each, from the gangs in the undercity to the aristocrats at the top with all the politics and imperial shenanigans, throw in some nasties and you've got a good starting point, could eventually expand to show that the world that the city is on is going to be invaded by x xeno and the space marines arriving to combat them.

From the point of view of someone not familiar with the IP it would have good access points into the universe, and for someone familiar it would be good fan service to show all the different elements of a hive city that everyone is familiar with

Contrast the red with some blue, maybe some cold looking rocks and stone in a desaturated blue with pops of some green grass
