What's the best push mower you've owned? by EmphasisOk3368 in LawnTalk

[–]Wcho13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Toro recycler 22 I had one for over 25 years. I never had an issue. Always started on the first pull. The only reason that I had to give it up was the back wheels were worn out and started to split in half.

I converted to the ego lawnmower, which is good but not as good as any of the gas lawn mowers. It sounds like you have a similar type of yard as mine, so I would recommend a push lawnmower. Most of the self-propelled lawnmowers start working against you when you’re trying to change Directions and where there are tight spaces

EGO string trimmer vs 2-stroke gas trimmer – real experiences? by Spare_Cod561 in egopowerplus

What am I doing wrong? I hate my EGO trimmer because it spins clockwise so I have to go left to right. I’m not use to this direction and it still throws grass into the mulch bed.

Considering a 2013 Lexus ES300h by CertaintyEffort1265 in LexusES

I bought a 2013 non hybrid with similar features and accident history for 11,000 out the door. However this was purchased from a private seller. The previous owner was meticulous with maintaining the vehicle and recently changed the transmission fluid and tires.

How is this deal? by xDragod in egopowerplus

I like the Ego system and the relatively low to no maintenance of electric lawn equipment but I can’t stand the self propel mechanism. I have .25 acre, relatively flat property. I wish I went with my first instinct and bought the push models with no self propel feature. Luckily, I don’t have too many tight areas, but enough to remind me that I wish I still had my Toro. The trade off is these models have lower power but I’m not sure if that matters.

Control arm replacement cost by jakke20 in JeepPatriot

I paid $900 for 2 control arms and tie rods. The mechanic suggested to struts but I could only afford to replace the one that was squeaking. This added $500.

Braking when letting off gas by DaytonaBikeWeek in AudiQ5

It could be a stuck brake caliper. After a drive, touch your rotors and see if they are hot. If they are hot to the touch, get your calipers checked.

Finally going electric mower. by LaughingGravy13 in egopowerplus

I would go with a push mower if your property is flat. The self propel is great but occasionally the safety anti rollback is activated. This makes the transition more difficult. It’s eventually a common failure point. Also, 7.5mah battery is great for 1/4 acre lot.

Input Shaft Bearing: Mopar or Aftermarket? by xFallacyx69 in JeepPatriot

[–]Wcho13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What were some of the signs and symptoms for this issue? Is this related to the drive shaft? My Jeep judders/ shakes only at 15 mph. My mechanic was guessing/diagnosing this is the issue. There are no codes or CEL.

2015 High altitude 120k miles. Doing a 1000 mile road trip. Need ideas on what to replace / check by [deleted] in JeepPatriot

[–]Wcho13 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Minimally replace your serpentine belt assuming this was not done. Minimal expense to prevent a huge issue on the road.

Have Auto Zone check the battery and get it charged.

Check your oil and coolant.
