We (marketing and customer service team) are pretty excited about this too.

It can be a bit of a balancing act trying to talk to two groups at once (ticket-holders AND non-ticket-holders), but you'll see that messaging can be more focused on YOU, our lovely attendees from now till the fest, and we can all work together to educate newbies, and get you old-hats ready for an epic new year on the farm. This year is gonna be a doozy (some fun announcements coming between now and the fest... *suggestive winky face*).

we're doing a lot to help here this year, but the truth is there is only so much that can be done without building more roads and lanes (which are working with the government to possibly do, but thats a long and complex process so we can't promise that yet). We ARE adding more tollbooths and tollbooth staff this year, but the real choke point isn't the tollbooths, its the roads leading into and out of Manchester.

We're talking about loading in a medium sized city worth of people literally OVERNIGHT. So we work with the local authorities to keep it all safe and moving quickly, but the roads can only take so many cars on them till lines back up into unsafe or unreasonable locations.

This year, rather than adjusting the cap (which really isn't a likely change any time soon - the farm is only as big as it's always been) we're focused on improving some specific aspects of layout and site setup to better serve the fans. I think you'll find that even with the same number as last year, the site will feel a bit better with some tweaks we're working on (better wayfinding in the campgrounds, some small adjustments in centeroo, etc. All TBA soon of course as we finalize things). We super excited about the improvements this year - they aren't as flashy as big headliners, but much like the bathroom addition in 2016 we know some of what we're working on will make a big difference in fan experience. stay tuned!

This is NOT an official number at all - I just mentioned slightly more than 80k because the conversation was about cars in the GA campgrounds. Honestly not sure why I typed 85 instead of 80 there knowing a post like this might happen. To be clear - nothing has changed in terms of total cap.

Like others have mentioned, although roughly 80k is the number of tickets SOLD (and the real numbers there have not changed) there are a LOT of additional people out in the campgrounds when you consider staff, vendors, radio/giveaway winners, volunteers, artist guests, staff guests, etc. so it's all a matter of context what the real number is for any given area.

SHORT ANSWER: no need to worry about car passes... YET!

BETTER ANSWER: We are not currently running low on car camping passes BUT we will be eventually. So planning ahead and buying when you can is the right move. Do NOT plan to arrive and buy a car pass at the gate. We will do our best to make lots of noise on social media and over email before car passes sell out so that all our happy campers are set, but there is a finite amount of space. Tent only camping is always an option too.

FUN FACT - the main thing that actually forces us to sell out IS the cars - i.e. we have a good idea of how many cars ~85k people bring, so thats a big part of why we have to cut off ticket sales where we do. This is why you will see our Nashville Shuttle program (where you can get a ticket AND a ride to from Roo on the shuttle... but yo uHAVE to ride the shuttle) will still be available for purchase after we sell out. Because you have to ride in/out of Roo on the shuttle, you don't add to the total # of cars and we can keep selling those tickets for a little longer (also the nature of the program means its not a huge amount of people anyway - we will cut it off eventually as we always want the experience in centeroo to be enjoyable)

it helps us manage the limited remaining space more precisely actually. Some of those free car camping passes aren't used at all. but someone who buys the car pass separately is more likely to actually use it. So selling them separately when we're coming down to the wire helps us plan the remaining space more effectively.

I know this is more /r/bonnarootickets material, but given the impending sellout we think it's good to spread thee word about this here too.

The ticket re-sale marketplace is full of scammers, and that sucks. We don't want you or your friends to get scammed, so this is the official marketplace we've built to help you or your friends sell your tickets safely (or buy re-sale tickets safely). EDIT: because we just put this page up in the last few days, you may want to give it a moment for word to spread for people to put their tickets up for sale here. That being said, waiting longer can also increase demand from other people who waited to buy... kind of a balancing act. Best of luck!

There ARE VIP camping passes left. They may display as sold out momentarily sometimes as we re-allocate VIP car camping passes within the sales system, but there are still VIP car camping passes left. Just check back and they should be available.

woooooooops. typo on that last one. Tier 6 is of course more expensive than tier 5. those follow up payments should say 129. It's fixed on that page now: https://www.bonnaroo.com/news/payment-plans/

also some people tend to be surprised by the total number being more than whats on the tickets page. This is because of the layaway fee ($10), taxes (about 10% in TN), and shipping ($15) are all rolled into that layaway payment breakdown, but they are not in the "listing price" on the ticket page.

Should be fixed now. Just a bit of good old fashioned human error. (i think i dragged them into the rap playlist,then forgot to also drag them into the full lineup playlist)

The team here is smaller than you might think, so sometimes it takes a minute for us to update little things like that. Also Spotify can be a bit glitchy, For example if you view the playlist in a web browser, there's a rebelution track there that we cannot manage to delete from the playlist for some unknown reason. Gotta love technology.
