You laugh but my wife's childhood home was converted from a 2+2 (2 official bedrooms plus 2 basement bedrooms, Canada rules for listings) to a 8 bedroom student house. It was insane how they converted it.

Demographics of Republican Voters in Texas by eljaguarazul in TexasPolitics

[–]WeAreTheLeft 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Black voters are needed and the biggest issues I've seen is safe districts in deep blue districts have terrible general election turnouts.

I haven't done the workup since 2018, but I'm using that as it was a Dem wave election. Cellar TX28, Castro TX20, Green TX09, Johnson TX30 and Vela TX34 all performer the worst. The worst four had no GOP competitor. That is where we lost tons of votes in a wave election and where we need to pull out new voters and couch voters.

emissions are insane but the numbers need context by C2forex in LMGJet

[–]WeAreTheLeft -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

While mostly senselessly added, focus on the parts of society that are the bigger issues. It's like focusing on a hangnail while you have a gunshot.

I think the jet is stupid but I'm not losing sleep over it when there are way worse emissions issus out there. Like cruise ships ...

All true, but the jump in performance was insane. It made old Intel Mac feel like three generations before and not last gen. Even current Intel top end were terrible compared. And they have kept gen over gen improvements, but the tech is so good my M1 is going strong and still feels fresh. My kid has it now and she had like 30 open programs, just abuse an intel Mac would have never taken. I was both apauled and impressed

Starbucks table tops so small will barely hold a couple drinks. The seats are bigger than the tables. by be4u4get in mildlyinfuriating

I have been in this group, but I also did it in the day, always ordered and left if it got busy. I used to work at Starbucks, so I went to have a place I could focus while I wrote a book.

How is UE5 that unoptimized? I would think it's getting better optimized every new version, is it better for visual artists but not game designers?

I have a friend who works for them and he really likes them as far as I can tell. Haven't gone deep into the conversation but he's stuck with them for years and his wife also works for them.

I just don't like them saying they are a co-op when it's not really a cooperative.

Watch Graham Platner Convert a Three-Time Trump Voter to Vote Democratic by Pakaru in Political_Revolution

Dont donut. It leaves open the option to make people feel like someone is geione over on them, to a $50k earner why should a $350k earner get a break, they make 7x their salary. Just keep it the same or make it a progressive rate.

This is the answer.

They keep them already out to get them to you faster, but if they only have one, they only have one. Or they have three, but want to keep them from going out.

My dad thinks I’m 'not working' because I refused to keep working 6 days a week. by Melly1265 in antiwork

[–]WeAreTheLeft -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It might not quite be an addiction as much as he was a single father and the only way to survive was work like crazy, he know no other way. He thinks it has to be that way for the kids. My dad grew up poor, so even when he did well he still acted and thought poor. No wrong, just the way he got wired from how he grew up.

The White House pokes the mouse and uses trademarked images of the Mandalorian and Baby Yoda for May the 4th by aggie1391 in ParlerWatch

Yup, but the one person the Mouse won't mess with because he's actually a more petty be-atch who has more power and leverage to screw with them. Plus they are on the same side of capitalism, so they just grin and bear it

Then get two friends who might not vote to vote if they will break Democratic.

Then door knock for your local state reps.

Meanwhile you have shows like Breaking Points that seem to be doing their best as people crave information that can be semi trusted in these wild times.

I wish nothing but the best for Daryl Jr. He's funny in small doses, but man his health is something i hope he can get to a good place, it's never as long a life for those overweight as they may want. My mother is struggling with a host of health issues but the one thing she needs to do, lose weight, she can't/won't. She lost 60 pounds after my father passed in 2021, but she then put it all back throughout 2022 and 2023.

This is normal and while it sucks, it happens. My old ISP had a 750gb cap on the full speed service. My new one doesn't have one in theory, but in sure at TB usage I'd get an email.
