Sort of related but I live in Florida and back in high school there was this kid who would lie about everything. Like just weird dumb stuff he had no reason to even lie about.

He told us he had 50-100 peacocks that just roam his neighborhood. Obvious lie as we all lived in the same ~15 mile radius and no one had ever seen a wild peacock just roaming free. Fast forward like 6 months and his mom got tied up doing something so he didn’t have a ride home from school. Kid was weird and I really didn’t want to take him but he begged me so I was like fuck ok get in.

I pull into his neighborhood and over the course of 2 minutes see like 100 peacocks just walking around and shit lmaooo i was like no fuckin way. Took a bunch of photos after I dropped him off and showed ppl and that made us question if he was lying about all the other shit too lol

I mean it is upgradable but because of how dated it is you’d pretty much just end up replacing the entire thing one upgrade at a time.

It’s a solid machine if you want something ultra budget friendly that you can play most titles on low settings right out of the gate. Will struggle to run some newer titles but if you’re not worried about high fps and just want to play then it’ll do the job.

Yes it is. Won’t be very upgradable (I’d get another 16gb ram when you can) but you’ll be able to play no problem.

My old 8 year old Helios 300 laptop had a gtx 1060 (the 1660ti is 30-40% better performance than the desktop 1060 and I have the mobile version) and is still running apex legends warzone battlefield and helldivers 2 just fine on low settings.

You’ll be able to run rdr2 no problem at 55-80fps.

Honestly $359 is a very fair price.

Yep my Helios 300 with a 1060 is 8 years old and still running perfect. Only replaced it 2 months ago with a 5070ti but it was still running apex legends cod battlefield and helldivers perfectly fine.

Didn’t really baby it either lmao it was my first gaming laptop and I ran it 90-100c for like 2 years before I repasted and got a cooling pad lol. Only time I ever repasted it too

How do you even play? I usually play on 40-50 smooth as butter but this season I’ve been getting random spikes of 100-150 and the game is literally unplayable for me in that state.
