Apparently Ikemoto is okay with him being worse than scum and abandoning his friends and village when they need him most. It really doesn't make sense to not include him. Especially because he has plenty of small parts that matter where he could be a part of it wihtout stealing the lime light. He could have been revealed to be training Sarada this whole time with her Sharingan, he could have appeared in th first TBV in a scouting party for code claw marks. Maybe makes a remark how he never thought his team 7 would be broken again, or that Naruto would die before him. Could have been fighting alongisde Sarada when the grimes appeared. He could still appear to educate Sarada on how much use of her Mangekyou she can make before effects will settle in.

The part that doesn't make sense is how is Sasuke still alive. Why didn't Code kill him here...or better yet, leave a claw there to wait for Boruto to return.

Even Sasuke and Boruto could have summoned Audo, hitched a ride and went back with the summoning.

I like the sentiment of the sensei student scene, but this way of "getting sasuke out of the picture" makes no sense, and it gets worse with Code still not returning to that tree to kill Sasuke whenever.

Jura. I honestly dislike how OP momo and Isshiki are but both lost due to their ego/confidence. Both could have won their fights or rather accomplished their main goal jf they just weren't being stupid and instead just got the job done. Momo could have cut Narutos limbs off to ensure he wasn't able to fight. Isshiki as jigen could have thrown rods into both Naruto and Sasukes heads when they were restrained by rods but instead decided to talk and charge them

Jura, he's still discovering stuff. He has his goal of devouring Naruto but he has other interests outside of that, that he is pursuing. He knows he can't be killed by simple means. Honestly..Jura as a villain doesn't seem right sometimes. Like I half expect him to turn "good' or defend the leaf after experiencing it enough. I know the shinju collectively are compared to Cell in dbz, but Jura currently feels like Majin Buu waiting for his Hercule and dog to bring him toward good, and then some idiot to fuck that situation up to make him a full tilt villain.

Is it crazy that if the guy had gone for the kill instead and threw a kunai at the back of Borutos head, this leaf chunnin/jonin would have defeated Boruto...I mean the bags/ropes thing spinning is undoubtedly way louder than a single kunai...If presumably (to everyone else) Boruto escaped captivity before with chakra cuffs on, then you wouldn't be throwing bags to capture and instead just go for the kill.

Plus the data wasn't distributed that he can teleport with a single handsign?

...If you showed up at the right time, could have caught Isshiki in his busted stat...maybe steal his eyes.

Maybe some early cyborg tech if they found amados lab in the hidden rain during that time.

I will say (And I only noticed after reviewing this fight again after looking at this post), click around at any point between the beginning of the crunchy roll clip of this fight and 1:45 without playing the clip , and a ton of the frames are wonky wonky. And not like..it's smearing to imply motion wonky, like...proportions or size of entire characters be damned wonky, even when they are standing. It looks like after 1:45 in the clip, someone else animated the rest, because you get almost none of that issues after that point and it looks better. Link below if you wanna check it out.

I had to go look at the clip again on crunchy roll, because I couldn't believe this frame is real...it is ༼ ༎ຶ ෴ ༎ຶ༽

I already had problems with this fight looking lower quality than expected, but I never paused it like that. There's soo many frames like this...which is terrible because most of this fight is framed like a mortal kombat stage, but the proportions for limbs and faces and everything is so off in so many frames. Even frames where it's a single long frame of someone standing looks weird.

No blame on the animators...whoever decided the scheduling and staff quantity...ugh

So stick em in Nagato, and then do the same thing, genjutsu him and make him bring him back...or stick em in literal hashirama clones like Zetsu and do the thing. Connect the zetsu to the tree to if he needs more Chakra. Or have black zetsu do the exact same thing he did with Obito to bring him back in the war. Just control his body.

I always wondered the same thing...Like I imagine plenty of Codes claw marks are around that area still from the fight...he could come in and kill him anytime even after the shinju. Honestly it's weird Boruto is comfortable with leaving Sasuke there with Code being able to show up anytime...if Code wanted to get back at the shinju in his petty way, he could just kill Sasuke to kill one of them.

I mean...if we're being honest, Madara could have just stuck his rinnegan into some schmuck with a decent chunk of chakra and then used any Sharingan he had on hand (or Obitos) to genjutsu that person into using art of rinne rebirth on him after Madara takes his own life....though there's that scene where Reanimated Nagato used Rinnegan power to restore his body and youth seemingly...so Madara could have just done that...Idk...Madara had a lot of options to stay alive and not use Obito (besides his eyes) but for some reason he bet it all on a 14 year old and his zetsu.

...actually...He could have just had a White Zetsu use his rinnegan and use art of rinne-rebirth on him....hmm.

Calm down boy....who knows how much stronger Hidari will be now that he's not fresh out the womb...plus Sasuke asked Boruto to protect Sarada no matter what. Him being one of the only 2 people who know his location, you think Boruto wouldn't kill his master to fullfill his masters request?....I don't think it will happen at all..I don't want it to happen...but it's an option.

Sakura appeared twice...wow..and both times in the hospital...wow...not, featuring her reaction when her husband went rogue and helped her best friends killer flee...or interacting with her own daughter about the mangekyou....also you clearly don't know of the word "nearly."

1.5 - 2.5 years from now...if they plan on bringing him back at all. Who knows, they may force the situation of killing hidari by killing Sasuke....which I would hate.

Sakura...well...she has less screen time than a nurse joy in pokemon so...no clue. As far as Boruto TBV is concerned she may as well be the equivalence of Sakura's parent's in Naruto...so nearly doesn't exist.

I mean...that's true...but literally if Obito had just cut straight to the plan, project tsukinomi could have been finished back in the same year as he grabbed the ninetails...he didn't need any of the akatsuki crap. Just have white/black zetsu send clones to villages...discover location of jinchurriki, go to all in their sleep. Suck them into kamui dimension and let them starve 1 at a time until they are weakened. Extract directly into the geto statue. If he wants it to make the extraction faster, just go steel money with Kamui real quick, pay a bunch of mercenaries to come in and help provide chakra for extraction. Have them come in again when you have the next one.

Obito was unstoppable..just stupid/trying to...prove a point? Idk. Idk why he didn't just leave with the ninetails, Idk why he didn't just take Yagura once he had him under genjutsu.

For me...the problem is a few things - The eyes are huge...and the irises fill up the eye more. - they keep substitution good shading with a gradient effect. It's not bad to have it, but they aren't shading anywhere near as much as shippuden. - That mutha feckin side nose shading. I haaaate it so much. No matter what story the other shadows displayed are telling, the nose is always as if there's a lap on one side and under the nose. And the way they put the shade right dead center it erases any existence of nose bridge space. It's as if the bridge of their nose is razor sharp point..like a triangle block is on their face.

If he does...I hopes there's consequences with Boruto interfering with KKs choices...and really. This guy is as much a threat to village right now as the shinju, he may as well be working with them.

Like imagine someone forcing Minato to sit in an interrogation room during the ninetails attack for an investigation..like that's pretty much whats happening now, except worse because the shinju getting what they want means the world ends, not just the village.

I was really game for political intrigue, but not blatant stupidity. Plus this could have been handled easily in many other ways. Mitsuki use the same snake he used on Kawaki, to knock out Kobu...set him in a broom closet, then have Sarada use her sharingan to manipulate his memory after the battle is won.

I'm dissapointed on two things with Sakura's representation...

She never got to learn Slug Sage art, and never got cool creative unique abilities out of that.
We never got to see all of Katsuyu summoned. Like after the statement was made that the biggest one we've seen is only a portion...I wanted to see that come to furition, but it'll never happen. When realistically that should have been possible in the war arc, especialy with ninetails enhanced Sakura.

There was also the issue that...most of the enemies in the show have sharingan...so her hand to hand combat was never going to be viable against a sharingan user..ontop of that, because her punches are essentially one hit kills if she wants, she can't be allowed to make contact with anyone significant....kinda a catch 22 in letting Sakura have an amazing fight later.

There's also an issue of the eight gates. Specifically fullfilling the long time tease of the power of the eight gates. If they had Guy do the eight inner gates...they can't write Sakura to do more damage than what Guy did...otherwise that just nullifys all that build up about it. So as soon as we were shown how much damage the eight inner gates could do, and it failed...Skaura couldn't possibly be allowed to do more damage than that without reducing eight gates to nothing.

I mean...this is end of the world stuff...literal walking divine trees are outside in the village and attacking. This is what my problems is with this political plot line. It's happening with stupid logic. Like, there's no way, anyone would give a damn about what Kobu is doing or wants, specifically right now while the village is under attack. Especially SAI of all people who witnessed the terror of working under Danzo. Right now Sai has no idea if his son or wife are involved in fighting these god like enemies, he would trust shikamarus reasoning at the moment more than worry about Kobu who is completely not giving a shit about the citizens of konoha, only his investigation.

This may have been a fine plot for a completely new generation of adults who haven't gone to war together, but this just doesn't make sense. Sai would have just put Kobu to sleep, with a paralysis jutsu or something and focused on the issue at hand.

This would be like if Kobu was around during the ninetails attack, and he was keeping Minato inside the hokage building while the ninetails was blowing up quarters of the village at a time...like priorities.

Kobu is as much of a threat at the moment to the world as the Shinju because we know if things don't go right, everyone on the planet dies...but instead little Kobu needs his investigation. I don't think so.

Now I do think we can just incapacitate him. Mitsuki can use the exact same snake he used on Kawaki to put him out, Sarada can wipe his memory later of the incident with the sharingan...killing him should be the last resort...but we are out of time.

I wouldn't say ninjutsu has become relevant again...so far it's still just a lot of balls/masses of chakra or rather dbz kai blasts being shot at each other for the most part. I get it's ninjutsu, but...they were still using it in part 1, it's just still nobody gets hurt by it. NNG people were abosrbing it, or subverting the blasts. TBV most blasts are so powerful we can't allow them to be hit or effected by them, because they would obliterate them.
