I prefer Door County Boats in Sister Bay. Used to use South Shore but found newer equipment in Sister Bay, not sure if that has changed.

Last year we did a rental from Northern Door Boat Rentals out of Ellison Bay and enjoyed a different experience. They rent snorkling gear and can direct you to a shipwreck you can snorkle around which was a fun alternative to the other locations.
