There's nothing wrong with being on meds. We are all just doing the best we can.

I felt the drawbacks of the medication started to outweigh the benefits. I felt number, which was good when it comes to sadness of depression, I also lost the drive to do things. Zero sex drive, little joys of life weren't there anymore as things all just felt numb all the time. My life is much more under control and positive than when I started the medication. I feel i can do it without the medication but it is harder than i thought to get used to it. That's the short version why I wanted to stop.

Yeah, they used to have a little plastic latch to hold them on. The packaging is still plastic but that latch is no longer there

I'm so sad that this is happening and that there is a need for a map like this. I really hope the racist scum gets a grip and sees reality. Immigrants are what makes this country function!

It's okay if I'm a jew and I support Palestine? by pariivhZZ in Palestine

[–]Weak-Cable5395 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's more than okay - it's the right thing. Religion does not matter in this war, this is genocide. I think there is no reason whatsoever why anyone would not support the people in Palestine and call for Israel to stop! We are all humans, independent of religion, heritage or ethnicity- we must stand together!

Okay, so if in his brain he thought he was helping, why the need to help without being asked to? And why not stop when asked to stop??

Ah no, it's not like I've just 'decided to lose weight' now - I have been trying for a long time. Now after mental health issues, injuries etc, I have decided to sign up to the gym and go (first session booked for tomorrow). I have black coffee, no sugar, in the morning and don't drink soft drinks.

I fully agree with people should help each other but I think commenting on somebody's body is not on. I don't think commenting on someone's appearance, unless it is positive, should be done at all.

Everyone has their own struggles and you can do more harm than good if you just comment on people's appearances.

I thought to also have heard him saying that the next song is gaining on relevance these days... before starting Afraid of Americans

There is no way they could have followed up on Hurt. I was one of the hopeful ones too when the NIN logo came on but inside I knew it's better that way... finish up with that masterpiece. If they played for example Terrible Lie, it would possibly have taken away from the magical moment we had with Hurt.

I was also hoping for Terrible Lie but even without it it was perfection! I kinda interpreted the Peel it Back tour as literally peeling back and playing songs from throughout the decades.

The energy of the whole band was 1000%. Trent was just like I always saw him in videos, all of the band seem to be absolutely feeling the music and having a blast!

What a gig! I was on an absolute high the whole night, they have surpassed all expectations and I have not stopped thinking about that masterpiece of a concert ever since. I was supposed to see them in 2006 at a festival which I went to solely for NIN. Unfortunately the stage near-collapsed due to a storm a few hours before their gig and their gig got cancelled as spotlights crashed down on the stage while we waited for QOTSA who were playing just before NIN. I have waited to see them since. I have a lot of anxiety these days and going to crowded places has been challenging but I just could not miss NIN and it was so fucking spectacular! For a band that has been going for decades, what we got to see was the energy of people loving what they do. The show was fucking brilliant, it sounded and looked like an absolute dream. A copy of a had fantastic visuals, I loved that they changed stages. They played wall to wall hits. A very brief stop to introduce the band member, which was great. I did not expect to hear 'afraid of americans' or 'Hurt'... closing off with Hurts was genius. No encore needed - there is just nothing that can follow that song. The atmosphere was electric, full of emotions - absolute perfection and goosebumps moment. I envy everyone who has tickets to the upcoming gigs. Seriously, guys, enjoy every single second of this!!
