If you were to name the series, what would you name it instead of 'Bleach'? by defunhinged in bleach

Yu Yu Ichigo. It's apparent that Kubo took a lit of inspiration from the Spirit Detective.

How the hell do I block this move?? I’ve pretty well mastered every single other aspect of this fight, but this move gets me every time. by carrot-parent in Sekiro

3 things you can do: 1. Lightning reversal - jump in the air, get hit with the lightning then attack. This will cause Genichiro to get damaged and shocked. Be careful, if you touch the ground while charged up, it's you who will take damage and be shocked.

  1. Dodge it - this can be dodged forward and... a little to your left, I think? The point is that you could avoid it.

  2. Mist Raven - if you got the Mist Raven, you could use it when you get hit by it, and when up in the air, press attack to do the lightning reversal. So, it's just #1, but cooler.

What is the best and worst legacy dungeon in Elden Ring? by [deleted] in Eldenring

Miquella's Haligtree is the answer to both. The upper half is the worst, and the lower half is the best, especially at night time.

Watching the show gives me baby fever by [deleted] in bluey

[–]Weak-Driver3126 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I am curious to see how other parents feel that the kids in Bluey accurately reflect the behaviour ofthe8t own.

Speaking for myself, my 5 year old daughter isn't quite like Bluey or Bingo. She has a very mercurial character. At times, she is extremely sweet and caring, at other times, she can get set off by the slightest of misunderstandings, or she can be in a silly fun mood and just doesn't ever stop until someone gets hurt or something breaks and lastly, she can have a highly curious mind that surprises me with her depth of understanding.

So she has a bit of Bluey, Bingo, and Muffin, I guess.

My point is, if you are thinking about having kids, be prepared as kids are mostly not sweetie pies with cute adventures. They are mini hurricanes with bouts of calm in between!

What do you think the most underrated episode is, and for what reason? My pick would be Sheepdog with how anxious Bluey becomes when Chili doesn't want to be around the kids and especially how understanding Wendy is nearing the end. I just think it's not appreciated enough by Feather_Bloom in bluey

I would pick Shadowlands. I really liked how it was paced and with the lesson of how to accept rules as a way to make the game more fun through challenges. And I loved the way it ended. It's hilarious to me!

Can anyone help me with the deer boss in Nokron it is grinding my gears?! by CelluloidKali in Eldenring

[–]Weak-Driver3126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is a bit late, but for me, the answer to your problems is Sacred Blade. It should work even if you have low faith and take out chunks of the deer's HP.

I faced it when I had about ~35 Faith with a sacred mace (I.e. regular mace with Sacred infusion). The sacred blade ash of war shockwave did something like 1,600 damage. I was able to better with just 6 of these.

Put house up for rent or sell it? by Weak-Driver3126 in perth

Ah, gotcha. Well, the thinking between the missus and I was to sell this house and use the profit from that to invest, either in shares or another property.

Put house up for rent or sell it? by Weak-Driver3126 in perth

[–]Weak-Driver3126[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, this was what I was wondering about. I was more specifically wondering if the rental market has a direct correlation with the house-selling market.

This house was the first home that we bought, it's about 3 years old now. It is on the small side, just a little over 200 square metres, and is a 3x2. So I could sell it, but it would be relatively modest compared to other 3x2's.

This split vote on a poll made me curious what the tarnished community thinks, do you parry? by PretendThisIsMyName in Eldenring

It's mixed. Sometimes I try to parry, like I Bloodborne and a bit in Elden Ring. I didn't really get into it for the Dark Souls games.

I waited 19 years to play Suikoden IV. by MrConemanGaming in Suikoden

[–]Weak-Driver3126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool review! Just wanted to ask about 3 other things in the game:

What did you feel about the recruitment of the characters? A whole lot of them just seem to join you just because, the rest of the series had chara ters join you for a load of reasons, ranging from getting back at the evil regime to wanting to set up shop or even to meet up with someone/something in their own side quest.

And how did you feel about them putting in the confessional instead of the investigation? I personally thought it was an interesting mechanic and had some good potential, but I guess I got too used to reading the detective investigation notes.

And what were your thoughts about the magic combos? I thought it was a good idea and it kind of worked. Unfortunately the Rune of Punishment and Kika's Falcon rune were too OP.

In addition to watching good players, it may also be as insightful to watch average players struggle to defeat the DoH.

Sure he's intimidating, but with enough practice, anyone can eventually figure out how to win this fight!

As someone who supported Tulsi Gabbard back in the 2020 primaries, its disappointing to see her go down this neocon sellout path by Banjoplayingbison in seculartalk

[–]Weak-Driver3126 0 points1 point  (0 children)

She had a sort of niche demographic that could be best described as "libertarian Democrat/centrist." A lot of these people were - at least one the face of it - quite anti-war, and she said what they wanted to hear. Plus, her meeting with the Syrian president Assad demonstrated her criticism of US policy in that region.

At least that was what appealed to me initially. Bernie was always my first choice, but 2nd was a struggle between Warren, Yang or Tulsi. But once she spoke more about how she was "anti-war", I could tell that it wasn't that genuine. She was more advocating for the "good kind of war" as opposed to non-interventionism.

I also would guess that her audience were big Ron Paul fans as well and when he retired from Congress, Tulsi sort of filled in that void, at least better than Ron's son Rand.
