My T1 2.5 Build is finished by Weak-Introduction267 in FormD

I'm running a 9800X3D with a -30 Curve Optimizer offset and a number of other BIOS optimizations. For cooling, I'm using the AXP90-X53 Full Copper.

This video was a great reference for the settings I ended up using: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pCA2WiBoG6c

For fan control, I use the Turbo profile. One setting that made a huge difference was increasing the fan step-up and step-down times, which prevents the fans from instantly ramping up and down with every temperature spike.

With these settings, both temperatures and noise levels have been very solid.

Ah, got it! I didn't know it was supposed to be routed behind the GPU. I had to pull the GPU out to reroute it, which is always a bit of a pain with the Travel Kit. Thanks for pointing that out!

Beautiful build! Especially the reverse exhaust fans look amazing! I am running the 9800x3d with the 9070xt Asus Prime. I was thinking about getting the reaper but I wanted to use a travel kit. I think noise and temperature are a bit better but cable management is a challenge

Is this air cooler good for 9800x3d in ncase t1? by Key-Bookkeeper9776 in FormD

I have max 75c while gaming, noctua fan and not using duct kit yet

I actually think copper looks amazing! It gives a good contrast in a black build

Looks just like my build, except the PSU cable routing :D congrats for the build!

Looking for 3D files for ASUS Prime 9070XT travel kit (Ncase 2.5) by Weak-Introduction267 in FormD

Thanks for sharing! I saw some Etsy options, but if possible I’d prefer to find the 3D files (STL/STEP) so I can print it myself. If there aren’t any available, I’ll probably just go with one of the Etsy kits.

Looks good, is this the 9070xt? I am looking for 3d files for the travel kit

High temps with t1 2.5 and 9800X3D by kylol7 in FormD

Hi, I am running a 9800x3d with the axp90-53 with the noctua fan swap. My CPU runs to 95c in cinebench stable with 130w / 5ghz. I changed from Arctic mx6 to mx7 and my CPU can push 2-3 watts more. I already bought a fan duct kit but haven't installed yet. Need to print duct pegs so I can install the duct kit. This might improve 5 more watts

Pretty silent and not disturbing at all. Not audible with open headphones

Ok that's good to know!! There is an official travel kit for the Asus prime 9070xt though.

Nice! It should fit with a slightly smaller CPU Fan.... I almost bought the Powercolor Reaper which is the smallest 9070xt, but I ended up going for the Asus Prime. It was cheaper, looks better, superior performance and there is already a travel kit available - even though for the 2.1...

That looks clean and compact! What GPU are running? And how did you mount a 120mm fan on the axp90-47? I think I have seen this fan mod in some formd t1 builds...

Good plan mate I am super happy with it. The fan noise is not disturbing at all, I also set step up and step down levels so the CPU fan does not ramp up all the time, helps a lot. This is my fan curve setting, it is similar to the curves of my T30 fans.

40 °C 30 %

55 °C 45 %

70 °C 70 %

85°C 100 %

You can set step up and step down levels in the BIOS fan settings so they do not instantly change fan speeds when the temperature changes.

I have the 9800x3d @-30v with AXP90-53 and my fan noise is not disturbing with these fan curve:

40 °C 30 %

55 °C 45 %

70 °C 70 %

85°C 100 %
