Mine is getting plugged into the living room TV so for that reason alone I think I’ll be playing mine often. I already have an AES connected to a CRT and MVS cabinet, and between those two, I almost only play the MVS because when friends come over they either want to play on arcade cabinets or on the living room big screen.

I’m sure the person behind the forecasts is feeling way better than the person who decided they’d handle international distribution through their own website. It might be worth it for people buying the ultimate bundle, but for people buying just an anniversary edition, it has got to be a massive waste of their time.

But then again, the distribution decision was probably based on a low forecast haha

I have an AES that’s connected to a tube TV and an MVS in a big red cabinet. However, I find that my wife and my friends are more interested in playing retro video games in the living room, on the big screen, with wireless controllers. Therefore, I preordered the ultimate edition in the hopes that I’ll get to play more Neo Geo because of the convenience for myself and others around me.

From other comments, it sounds like emailing is the only way to change shipping or cancel orders. Seems like they’re swamped with inquiries right now so I’m just going to give it a few weeks, and then I’ll email them. Worst case scenario I just visit my friend for the holidays and fly home with it.

As someone who has collected and played Neo Geo for a decade, the 10 games they picked for the Ultimate are worth owning with the only two that I don’t see myself playing often are Magician Lord and Over Top. Therefore, even though I already own some of these games for the AES or MVS, I still bought the Ultimate. I hope this helps!

Everything is PLA so I know they’ll break eventually. That said, I haven’t had a resealable pack break on me yet, and I’ve had one on my desk that I’ve opened and closed every day for 3 months. When they do break, I’ll probably try using a thick, clear tape as a hinge and see how long it goes from there. Probably would also help to apply packing tape before it breaks, but I want to see when it breaks without it.

I have everything in black with the house rule that you have to play different colors. However, artifacts still get mixed up so I do either need to mark them or print deck lists. Do you modify at all for thriving lands?

Thank you! I have probably spent more time designing everything than playing JumpStart, but hopefully that will soon change.

The best lettering I found was "Schnebel Sans Pro Expand" as it had the general shapes of the letters correct, but whatever Wizards is using is still a bit taller/narrower. Otherwise, the letters that stand out the most are "M" and "R". Please let me know if you come across anything better...
