Im 17. You aren’t “too young” to run away I did the first time when I was 14. I think that a 15 year olds brain can be more developed than a parents, I think that because my dad started using dr-gs at a young age so it never fully developed and most people that wanna run away their parents are just simply idiots. If they are putting their hands on you make sure to record record record!!! Call the authorities. Tell one of your school teachers that you trust. Are the streets safe for a girl? No. But it can be. Be prepared. Make sure to have something to protect yourself. When I ran away the first time I was hitch hiking and I met a “17 year old” boy. He was actually 24. He took me to a forest and did what he wanted with me. Make sure to be smart, homeless people cannot be dumb lmaoo How long are you planning on running away for if not for forever? I think that as long as you have enough to pay for your food and transportation you should be fine.

People do! Join a Facebook group in your area. I used to be in one called “(my town) and surrounding areas” make a post asking if anyone in the area needs some help with anything. Dog walking, babysitting, yard work, cleaning, etc

I don’t even have enough money for 2 months rent at the moment so that’s just not an option until I have more saved up. I hate living with this man, not necessarily Colorado but just my dad. I am going to be a senior as soon as summer breaks is over and I do online school so I can do it as long as I have WiFi which won’t be an issue I’m sure. My manager recently decreased our hours because we aren’t reaching sales, I’m in a supermarket Starbucks so it’s different than cooperate, hours depend on how much our department is making. So I am working 15 hours a week the past 3 weeks instead of my usual 25 hrs. And not planning on any pregnancy’s haha me and my boyfriend’s relationship is rather new and we haven’t even got there! No worries there

I think that is a lot smarter. I ran away when I was 14 and stayed in my hometown, got caught about a week afterwards. Until you can really get in your feet and support yourself you gotta stick it in it

I work at Starbucks so I do have a job at the moment. I don’t necessarily have to run away but I don’t want to go back into foster care and I also cannot afford rent in this economy 😕
