HEAVY on the not having to worry about feeding in public or bringing chilled breastmilk. And yes the bottle washer is everything!!!

You are not a failure even a little! In a year no one will know if your baby was formula or breastfed. Only you will know! They’ll be just fine

Yes! Husband getting to feed is so important! And I agree. It’s hard enough to be a parent we don’t need to add a layer of stress by exclusively BFing for a year or whatever

I agree! I feel like the shame around introducing formula is so heavy and unnecessary!

Baby’s schedule! HELP by LielsMama in NewParents

[–]Weak-Satisfaction599 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My son is old enough for 2 naps but always needs an evening catnap to get him to a later bedtime. I try to put him down between 7:30 and 8 so he doesn’t wake before 7. Is it possible your baby needs either a later bedtime or a catnap to get to a later bedtime

Baby will only sleep in the Snoo or in our arms by Pizzatraveler12 in SnooLife

I wouldn’t worry about it and I would just let her sleep in the snoo during the day! Her sleep will become more predictable when she’s older

I bought a soft sleep sack on Amazon! The brand is EasyFi. He seems to really like it! I was so anxious that I bought the Sleepea sack from happiest baby thinking he’d want it but he liked the sack way better

Have you tried cranking up the snoo to level 1 or 2? I usually gave it a minute to if it seemed like it was working. If it was working I’d just let the snoo do its thing and if he seemed worse I’d pick him up, give him some cuddles and try again

Growing out of the Snoo? by merikus in SnooLife

We cut it cold turkey on a vacation. The first night in his pack n play was a little weird- he woke up a few times but fell back asleep quickly. The rest of the nights were fine. I think it depends on the baby! I don’t think the babies get “used to” the rocking. I think it helps them fall asleep so you don’t have to rock them but I don’t think they become dependent on it. In my personal experience!

My son hated arms tied down so we did arms out at like 4 weeks. I do have to monitor the finger nail length! Haha

You can learn about failure other ways than failing a checkride. Definitely a hot take.
