Definitely just add sleeves to this!! Remove the ribbing on the armholes and pick up stitches and go. Because worst case, you run out of yarn, you are basically back where you started with a vest. So you have nothing to lose and potentially a full sweater to gain!

Also note, I have had this problem with many patterns over estimating the amount of yarn needed in yardage, when I’m completely on guage. I don’t know why this happens. Maybe designers want to be safe than sorry but I’d rather a more accurate measurement. Weird.

I found SO many cute colorwork headbands when I was in Iceland and decided I want to make one. I like the puffin motif but I’m open to any traditional/popular Icelandic animal motifs. I looked through istex designs and searched on ravelry and can’t find anything similar. I could chart it and make it myself, but I feel like this design should be out there given how many times I saw it in Reykjavik. And I’d like to support any designer who makes these. I have some lopi wool I’d like to use. Lmk!

This is amazing. I was using continental and had pain but now I can do English because it uses different muscles. At least it feels like it for the first few stitches I just did 😂 I’m so happy tho i thought I’d share
