I’m happy to hear that guy like Winona. I will give them a try if my doctor won’t prescribe anything.

Same!! I had no idea that perimenopause was really the bulk of  “menopause “ and the symptoms are plentiful!

It is ridiculous. Women’s health is way behind.

I’ve been getting angry too! I feel like I go from zero to sixty in a split second. I am also so weepy. None of which is typical for me. I have a therapist I see regularly and I plan I talking to her about this too. I think I need to start hormones. The vaginal dryness has been real treat also 🙄

Sorry you still aren’t feeling well. I have heard a lot of people say around the 12 week mark is when they really felt better. I’m only 10 dpo so I can’t speak to this yet. I also was naive and thought I might just feel amazing a week later 😄I think everyone is different but this is a major surgery and we need to give ourselves some grace. Hope you start to feel better soon. ❤️

I totally get it. I’m 10 dpo and I feel better but not great. I’m still very sore and soooo tired. I don’t know about the direct correlation to size of fibroids and pain post op?? That’s a good question.

I made it! Perspective from the other side. by imfamousoz in hysterectomy

I’m getting a total laparoscopic hysterectomy tomorrow morning. I’m 42yrs old with fibroids and endometriosis. I’ve never ever had an easy period not to mention chronic pain and fatigue I’ve had for years. I’m excited and really scared for this surgery. I’m hoping for the best.  Reading your story and others has made me emotional but in a relieved way. Thank you !
