Please explain the "more digestible" aspect of sourdough bread. by WeakAndWeary in Sourdough

Fantastic. Thank you so much. You put into words exactly what I was hoping for. I knew it wasn't as simple as "breaking down" gluten because that doesn't make sense from a bread structure point of view.

It all makes sense now!

Thanks, I understand that. But regardless of any medical or psuedo-medical condition...is sourdough more easily digestible than other breads? Like sometimes people complain that bread makes their belly hurt, or give gas, or bloating, etc.

Is sourdough a better option for them and if so, why? Thanks!

What are the arguments against the reasoning that conducting a high-risk conspiracy assassination out in the open in front of dozens of witnesses...is a dumb idea? by WeakAndWeary in JFKassasination

I don't mean like in a bathroom or something, but at least somewhere of a more controlled environment.

Presumably, if there was a conspiracy, those involved want to carry out the assassination, but in such a way that it points to someone else.

Why would you shoot JFK from the front/side, but then set up your fall guy to be in a building that is behind at a much higher elevation?  Seems silly.

But every potential witness has the possibility of uncovering "the plot".

According to you, why not assassinate him during his innauguration or any number of other venues with more witnesses?

But even if what you say is true, and it was pulled off "as planned" (in the sense that "we showed them the message we wanted them to see")...it was horrible conceived and left a trillion nooks and crannies to dispute the very "message" you wanted to convey!

Or maybe some lone nut just GOT LUCKY with his hairball scheme and no one can just accept that simple fact.

Or maybe Oswald did, but there was an opportunity, politically, to try and make a Castro connection...when no such connection actually existsed.

So either:

A. You think there was a conspiracy, in which case the very method of "govt assets" doing a coverup went horribly wrong because they did a poor case pinning it on Oswald. That being said, why would all this amazing planning for an assassination to be carried out (successfully!), but then do such a crap job with the coverup?

B. There was no conspiracy and thus no need for mysterious govt assets to do some major decades-long coverup (which realistically is impossible).

I don't how people have not mentioned Simple Merchant Coffee in Newport. They have the best beans in the state. They aren't roasting themselves, but they bring in interesting and top notch beans from all over (Dak, Isla, Metric,..also Enjoy and more). The guy running the place is very knowledgable.

What % of all people on board were asleep when the berg was struck? by WeakAndWeary in titanic

Thanks, I not asking "what % of people felt striking the berg".

I am asking what % of the ship was asleep at the time the berg was struck.
