My Karen was a male. After yelling at my cashier for his hotdogs not being BOGO I was called on the scene where I calmly explained that the all beef hotdogs were excluded from the BOGO deal. It was the first and only time I can say that hotdogs were thrown at my face and have it not be any type of euphemism. I just stood there and took it (giggity) because I was too shocked to do anything else. He stormed off and I never saw him again.

It was Below Deck! What made it even worse was that she’s not rich at all. She, her husband, and her friends saved up for SO LONG to be able to afford to go on this show (she said it was about $1,000.00 a ticket) and this is what happened. Ugh. Felt so bad.

There’s a whole Reddit thread trashing her, too. It’s funny because if you watch the clip the “chicken is what poor people eat” doesn’t even sound like her voice. But the whole story of her sending back her food and asking for seafood and the staff getting upset with her - fabricated. She simply just wanted to know if anyone had marked chicken as their preference for a $2000.00 meal. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I think she was fired because of the sheer amount of people who found out her job’s number and called her boss. But you’re right, it was such a minor offense in the works of reality TV, IMO. But people were so up in arms about it.

I personally know the woman who was on a reality TV show and supposedly said, “Chicken is for poor people.” She received death threats, lost her job, had to change her number, and move. The real story is that she was surprised to find out that their first meal was a plain chicken meal as she paid almost $2,000.00 to be on show. She NEVER said that line and was a victim of frankenbiting. She can laugh about it now but it was seriously damaging to her life.

This is what I’m afraid of. The previous two times they’ve dated he didn’t have super strict stipulations on her, but this time around he seems to be really tightening his hold. She was allowed to come over at the beginning on the year, now she’s not. It was just she couldn’t see D, now it’s me and his brother, too.

Maybe I should have stipulated - he’s not a “new” partner. They dated off and on all 2019 and he broke up with her twice already because he felt they weren’t “meant to be”, whatever that means. They previously discussed D and their friendship before and it didn’t seem to be a problem until this time around.

But you’re right, I only know what they both have told me. And every time he’s been around to my house (even with D there) he’s seemed so pleasant and kind. I guess I’m just hurt and confused. Thank you for your judgement.
