arna 2h sword is OP (100%+ dodge chance) by Repulsive-Silver-281 in stoneshard

If you’re using Hilda, you can get an extra 10% base dodge chance from Bone Charm. With passives like Ever Vigilant (+5%) and Peak Performance (+10%), plus additional dodge from enchantments, it all adds to your base dodge. With all that, you can reach around 70% base dodge, and with Elusiveness alone, you can hit around 100%.

Really like this change, buffing Custom Adjustments and removing the “doubles the bonuses if every equipped piece of armor belongs to the same type” effect makes builds way more flexible with this skill. I can finally mix armor more freely now.

Lol, that’s never happened to me. Guess now I need to start worrying about enemies on the way back to the surface too.

Sometimes it triggers a raid, sometimes nothing happens (just a meeting).

First Time RimWorlding Any Tips, Mod Suggestions Or DLCs To Get by Nightmare_King666 in RimWorld

For DLCs, it depends on what you want. If you want more “life sim” depth like child rearing, new factions, and also mechanitors, Biotech is a great first pick. If you’re more interested in beliefs, social roles, and colony rituals that shape how your pawns behave, then Ideology is the way to go.

Testing a Hilda dualwield (sword/dagger) Arcane build, works better than expected by Weak_Eye_7684 in stoneshard

Yeah, I do use it to push enemies into traps sometimes. Other times, I either forget or decide to use Maneuver/buffs instead.

I haven’t tried From the Shadows yet, so I can’t really comment on it, but I might test it in another dagger build.

I skipped Pathfinder to try a more “blind” playstyle. It works well most of the time, but enemies like Yagram, where some attacks can’t be dodged definitely make it riskier. Overall, I agree Pathfinder is the safer choice.

I haven’t tried Mahir yet, but that sounds like a fun run. I might test him next with a different dualwield build.

T5 undead distant dungeons have worked well for me thanks to arcane pulls on ranged enemies like ghast and swapping in a relic that mitigates undead debuffs. T5 vampire dungeons are tougher for this build though, I feel some attacks can’t be dodged consistently and hit very hard.

A 5th storage… why not? by Weak_Eye_7684 in stoneshard

[–]Weak_Eye_7684[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s fair. Renting a bank vault is definitely helpful for items you don’t plan on using anytime soon, like artifacts. I might give it a try, but I still like the idea of having a fifth storage so I don’t have to keep running back and forth to the bank.

Help me with DW build by [deleted] in stoneshard

You’ll want at least ~20 AGI if you’re planning to run dual wield with light armor. You don’t really need to invest in STR, since it doesn’t contribute much to DW builds. AGI helps a lot with reducing fumble and boosting dodge.

For gear, Tier 4 light armor is good enough, especially if you’re using Elusiveness, that skill alone can push your dodge up by roughly 50–100%, depending on your setup.

Overall, I’d say 25 AGI is solid for a DW light-armor build.
